I think it would be super cute to do a green top layer with this soap, it would mimic the look of a strawberry, especially with the shape of the soap scraper!
I was literally saying: "Oh NO! That fragrance oil has done you dirty!" And, of course, it changed back.... LOL! Thank God for that! LOL! :D LOVE the finished product. Looks great! Thx for the video!
For a while you added the lye to the solids only, I was wondering why you switched to mixing liquids and solids before lye? Does it get too hot or something? Anyway, back to watching this super relaxing video ❤
Hi, I noticed in your last videos you are shaving the sides and corner of the bars and then make new bars pressing the shavings. I'm just wondering why? Its just to reuse the shavings or maybe to make free samples? Thank you
Yes I’ve always planed and beveled my soaps for the smoothness it gives. I’ve just recently started including it in the videos. I turn the shavings into bars so there is no waste.
How did you cut the scraper? I haven't bought one because I'm a hobbyist sospmaker and I only do 2 lb batches. I'd love to try a scraper if I can adapt it to fit my molds!
need this to fix my mood fr

This one is truly amazing, Julie. I kept it for me.
Totally agree. It’s one of my favorites 🍓❣️
Anyone else think this looks like strawberry cheesecake ❤
Lovely as usual. ❤

Very pretty 😍
Beautiful batch. TFS.😊
Would love to know the gadget you used at the end to shape your soap scraps..love it.
It’s a bathbomb/shampoo bar mold. I linked where I got it in the description :)
How pretty ❤

One less dish I have to wash 🤣💞
BUT if it’s really cold in my soap room. I will melt the hard oils separately. Other wise it may not melt all the way.
Hey Julie! Are you doing coordinating gift sets for the holidays?
Probably not this year 😥

Do you pour your lye mixture straight after mixing it or do you let it cool down some before pouring it into your oil mixture?
As soon as the lye is dissolved I pour it. You want it as hot as can be so it will melt the oils :)

My husband cut it with a saw 🫣
Buy a cake comb from the dollar tree. They work for my 34 oz log🦋
