Ford Transit - Troubleshooting a Can Bus Fault - Instrument Panel Not Working

In this video we shall be diagnosing and fixing a 2017 Ford Transit that came into the workshop with the instrument panel not working. The methods used are universal and not just suited to Ford. It soon became apparent that the fault wasn't going to be an easy fix. Upon further investigation it was found the whole medium speed can bus network had failed. Using only a multi meter and the correct diagrams, the can bus issue was identified as a short to ground on the can high wire.
