Elsenborn Ridge is the next map for Hell Let Loose and it will feature dynamic weather! What do you guys think?
Give us Caen, Tobruk, Anzio, BERLIN, Rzhev, Seelow heights! If we get any more US maps they need to be against Japan or Italy. No more us vs Germany
They're working with what they know right now. Keeping us on the hook.
Dude it's free content
@@Bearbok yea I’m not really complaining, if it’s as good as mortain I’ll be happy, but I still want more Brit and Soviet maps
@@deathwatchproductions5221 I totally agree on wanting more Brit and Soviet maps (and how about Italy etc). I was just frustrated at all the people complaining and I happened to respond to yours hahahaha See you on the battlefield!
@@Bearbok Italy and Japan as a faction would be sweet
Snow = good
new map = good 👍🏻
Dynamic weather = great! ❄️
Winter forest map, interesting i like the idea. Huge fan of Kharkov, i hope the new one won't disappoint.
Battle of moscow siege of Leningrad, battle of Berlin. Battle of achen!! Come devs wtf
They can still do those and have this too.
The idea of Hell Let Loose incorporating elements from Squad and expanding to include other eras of warfare, such as modern combat, is an intriguing one. Both games have their unique strengths and a combination could potentially create a compelling experience. Incorporating multiple eras of warfare, including modern combat, could attract a broader audience. Players interested in different historical periods or modern warfare would find more content to engage with. Offering different settings and time periods would provide variety in gameplay. Players could switch between World War II and modern combat scenarios, keeping the experience fresh and engaging.
what i like about HLL is that its a middle ground of Milsim and a simpler hardcore fps fun, practically like rising storm 2
I really dont understand people complaining about more FREE maps. You can still say you want maps for other factions while being happy we are getting these other FREE maps
I would just like to choose from time to time which maps we get to choose.
Ps5 we get no choice it is complete random.
@@Robert53area Yeah that sounds bad. PC you have much more freedom to choose your server, map, and who you play with. The negative on PC servers is they don't rotate through a lot of maps (the ones they think are bad) so you end up playing the same maps over and over.

Just bored of playing the same factions all the time, it’s obvious people want to play more brits and Russians
We need a eastern front map right now no more us map
This is where majority of Wehrmacht was destroyed
@@derritter4970Majority of the Wehrmacht was destroyed years before this took place on the Eastern Front

We need more uk maps
Hopefully this is the last US vs Germany map in the long run. While I'm excited for Elsenborn and it's dynamic weather, I feel like we really need something refreshing when it comes to Soviet and UK factions.
The map will probably feature some hills, based on the real life battle and map images. Right now, it looks promising.
I hope the next map is either UK or Soviet map or even a new faction map.
There's a candidate for it sitting in the files.
Not gonna say what it is this time around.
Haha you were right about Elsenborn. Why not share what the other map could be?
Do you think a dunkirk map would ever be possible?
@@VenatorPaleodunkirk was not a battle but an evacuation, maybe if France was added then yea. But otherwise no.
@@IronHeartGamingYT because one of them is known already, and 2 other maps were removed from the files tbh
@@VenatorPaleo nah, I don't think so.
Maybe for Skirmish mode at best, but I won't cross my fingers on this one
More soviet maps would be cool just cause theres so many ti choose from. I mean you got moscow, rzev, bagration, kiev, cherkassy pocket, crimea, berlin, prague, budapest, i could keep going. Tens of epic battles for devs to choose from on the Eastern front.
A winter version of Stalingrad (perhaps in a new part of the city, not the current map), Courland pocket and Seelow heights are a few other eastern front options.

Uk has less than russian
While this map sounds it could be a new favourite for me, I really like snow and forest maps, and the concept sounds great, I would like to see something else. They could easily create Narva instead of another US map, this would be a similar map, and I would like to see more of the eastern front, or even Finland!

@@jmgonzales7701 I agree, its the perfect mix. But other historical areas should be different games, for example modern warfare as HLL2
@@jjjonathan8774 and spend for a 2nd one? If squad can do it. Hll can do it as well. Even if its mods only.
@@jmgonzales7701 I do not know if that is realistic…

plz more eastern front maps enough with band of brothers stuff
Do you mean eastern front maps and band of brothers maps? The 101st Airborne didn’t fight on the eastern front my dude.
@@IronHeartGamingYT i said enough with band of brothers(western front) more soviet
Ahhhhh sorry. I misread your first comment. Yeah let’s get more Eastern Front maps and British maps!
@@IronHeartGamingYT Hell yeah
All these comments suck, fix the bipod and the broken ass vault mechanics before new maps
I like the fact that the deva are reworking some old content, hopefully the new map is sweet. Hopefully they add new maps like Moscow, Kiev, or even Dunkirk

Need more maps that isn't US vs Germany, no offence to the US but I find it really boring. I'd much rather play as Britain, Soviets or add new playable factions.
Donald Trump will not be sending you a Christmas card this year … hehe. Jokes aside I would also like to see more British or Soviet maps. Better yet a NEW axis faction!
@IronHeartGamingYT Yeah. Though I find everyone constantly disagreeing with me, I'm Italian and a big fan of Italy in WWII and I have been waiting for them to add Italy for years now. Can only dream I suppose, we're more likely to see Japan before Italy.
Even though there's British and Soviet factions, I find that there's not enough maps so you're almost always just playing as either US or Germany and that's it. It's really quite frustrating that this new map is US.
@@gloomsouls Italy would be a very cool faction to add.
Omg how badass this game would be if it had a japan battle 😢😢
Baaaanzai!
@@IronHeartGamingYT I say it as the germans just kidding 😅😅
New maps are always a welcome sight as long as they don’t revolve around one bridge and no other way to cross the river!
Presses pause, leaves server
Imagine next map is aachen💀💀 hell nah! Already t17 gives us content at such slow rates and and do not even optimize the game and neither make the game look better in existing state but still they will give more us vs Germany maps where is usse , where is Italy, where is commonwealth or British forces whatever, tired of us vs Germany maps 😭 fck t17
im sticking to SQUAD44, not another AMERICAN MAP!!!!
America was the best army in the war hence its going to be prioritized
I wish we had more qol and bug fixing... Getting shot at by ppl when I can only see their shoulder or the very top of their helmets isn't fun gameplay.
Ngl another American map!, Looks like Britain didn't fight in it. Utterly ridiculous.
well it was the americans who carried the war. ofc they would be overly represented.
@jmgonzales7701 😂😂😂😂 I think you'll find America carried no-one, the Russian front beat the Germans not the Western front.
Yanks 😂😂😂
@@ulf793wait till this guy finds out about American lend lease to the soviets 😂
Hopefully they do a good job with the new map imo foy map sucks. too much open space and you get killed by a sniper, mg or tank lol
I’m not surprised I’m just extremely disappointed. USA VS German for 20th time 💀
You wanted a different map or the idea of their plans for Elsenborn Ridge are disappointing?
@@IronHeartGamingYT I just want to use the British or the Russians more often. Like even if they converted half of Normandy maps to British, that would have my interest a lot more than another USA vs German every six months.
@@americantitan2190 Yeah I think we have enough US maps lol, give the Soviets and the Brits some love. Berlin for the Soviets, an early war Brits vs Germany map (1940 France) or a Battle of Monte Cassino would be sweet.
@@americantitan2190 Agreed. Everytime I log on its US map, then US night map followed by US map. I would much rather have more British or Soviet maps added, so that people can actually play those factions.
Didn’t they say they were going chronologically lol
That was first suggested in the 2023 road map which was quickly abandoned
@@IronHeartGamingYT I know team17 are the publishers, but do you know the name of the actual developer team currently making changes to the game?
Cover 6 studios and Expression Games

Brilliant and synchronized with the Road Map calendar, happy to see a Devs team working hard on this gem of a game!
NOW about those players not satisfied because it is not Anzio or the what ever other famous battle ground, get a grip!
Grow up and join the real world of game development, then and only then pour your acid if you must.
Other wise you are just part of the barking masses, you know, a no one!
Everyone has the right to gripe. I hope Elsenborn is a fun map and the dynamic weather is a cool feature but damn it would be cool for them to announce plans for a Berlin or Monte Cassino map or dare I say it a whole new faction like Italy or Japan to so it isn’t always ‘X’ vs ‘Ze Germans’
Ah yes more open feilds and no viability. Just what we needed. Not more urban warfare like carantan
I think it will be more like Hurtgen forest in the snow ⛄️ rather than open like Foy
As much as I’d love to see the Pacific, balance of US vs IJA Army is going to be an absolute nightmare. German balances the number of Garands with the MG42, G43 and STG. Japan on the other hand had absolute dogwater infantry weapons all around so they will have to be creative on balance imo that looks like crazy good defensive structures etc. I’d love to see Italy added both as an axis nation and as maps. Riva Ridge, Mount Belvedere, Po Valley etc
They dont need to balance much for japan, Just make Imperial japan maybe have more tickets so they can do human waves and banzai charges. Would love to see pacific maps, battle of leyte, manila then okinawa.
@@jmgonzales7701 HLL doesn’t have a ticket system. They could at best cut the respawn timer down a little.
What I think could work to help balance Japan:
-) An Edge in Melee: All Japanese guns will have bayonet on by default. No need to change to knife to melee kill. Can instantly stab. If bayonet is added on other faction, make Japanese bayonet give no accuracy/recoil penalty when attached.
-) Rifles: Low level rifle is type 38. High tier rifle is type 99 rifle with monopod that eliminate recoil like bipod. Type 97 Sniper rifle allows faster reloading with clip.
-) LMGS: Type 11 lmg for low tier. Both type 99 and type 96 can use scope on the lmg. So Japan will have an edge in having more scopes around.
-) SMGS: While not many available, it's number is pretty good enough to just add (considering the real number of fg42 only 8000 units). Low tier will be type 100/44 with 8000ish units. Second tier is type 100/40 smg with bipod and slower firerate than 100/44. High tier will be SIG Bergmann (Type BE) with 50rnds mag (based on someone's analysis, there could be up to 6000 of these)
-) Grenade and smokes: Type 97 grenade nothing special. For at grenade, they can get sticky magnetic type 99 mine and type 3 impact at grenade (although type 3 only starts to exist in 1945 I think). For smokes, type 94 small smoke candle as timed one. They could also get an impact smoke grenade in form of frangible ball flask with chemical in it. (there is poison gas and harmless smoke version. Poison gas version appears earlier, while smoke appears later which could be starting from 1945)
-) AT weapons: Type 97 at rifle as semi auto at rifle. Type 2 AT rifle grenade as their equivalent of rocket launcher, although with slightly lower penetration. Seems good enough
-) Secondaries: Type 14 nambu, type 26 revolver, type 94 nambu. Interestingly, there is also the rarely used type 2 TERA takedown rifle. Not used much, but available in 20k numbers. Might be considerable to give interesting secondary rifle.
So with this concept, Japan will balance themself by having more scopes, an edge in melee, an edge in impact grenades, and availability of bipods for rifles and smgs, and any more small surprises. Might be good enough to fare against American. I haven't included things like type 89 grenade discharger too
We need a Korean War mode
