Gotta love texecom. Half the PIRs in our store were ancient and activated the alarm as it set and got the shutters halfway down ended up having to omit zones half the time 😂😂
No company is perfect. Texecom does make and has made some good stuff. Not too keen on the Odyssey X sounder range and the panels seem a bit buggy sometimes.
There’s an installation one on Paragon Fire & Security on the internet. Just search up Scantronic 9448+ Style manual. And there are plenty of used manuals too.
I’m quite confident it’s a Premier although I have both the Premier and Premier Elite 48 versions and they came from the same place so there is a chance I may have mixed them up.
Another Banger, Another Banger from AlarmMuseum.
That entry tone sounds like a fulleon sounder of some sort lol, nice video

Texecom will always be my favorite
I do quite like the panels although some products have slipped with quality I’ve noticed!

Is there a way to make the loud speaker do the same tone as the keypad. The sound coming from that speaker is vile! 😬
Unfortunately not! There’s not much of a difference between the two tones in my opinion! Unless you mean the external sounder.
The internal speaker sounds like a menvier panel. I don’t really like the tones! It is too low pitched!
@@WilliamMcBride I have to admit I really don’t like the setting confirmation chime on the speaker. I like the slower keypad one.
and how many decibels is it
Probably about 105-110dB.
Is that a Premier or a Premier Elite? I thought the Premier did the confirmation tone after disarm

@@Rhythmman14 I’ve just checked and it’s a Premier 48.
