Coltallic I also noticed this note chart is missing the double notes during the distorted intro. No way he would've gotten 100% playing with only 1 finger.
For anyone saying that this isn't the right tabs for the song. You are right, and the sound is a bit off. But currently this is the only closest version we have on Rocksmith. Will happily play the true version is someone can compose it. I would but I have only played bass for 3 months and I know nothing about music theory, still learning.
yes and no. Rocksmith will recognize the notes from your bass, but all of the visual cues will point to a 4-string. I guess you could just not play the low B or use it for the down-tuned songs. You would have to do some finger transposing.
It will also depend on the song. For example if you do songs like Baby Metal (Where the bassist has a 6 string) you could use your Low B and it would pick it up instead of trying to tune your E string down to B or even A ( I have tried) or some songs will say you need a 5 or a 6 string (When you download the song it will tell you. Dream Theater for example) the person who made it will put the arrangement into the Rhythm part of game. Hope this helps
I'm not sure if you noticed this but in the description it says that you're playing an Ibanez but you're actually playing a Schecter. Just so you know. Great playing by the way!
Cliff not only plays chords under the open E. The slide fill is wrong. The opening has triplets on the third and sixth bars.... I stopped a minute in. This is not the proper bass line for this song.
i dont know if this will help in time but its a great training tool. other methods need to be implemented while learning the instrument, but rocksmith is amazing at helping one learn to navigate the fretboard.
The only problem I've been having is actually playing the songs without the visual notes. With notes (bass) I do 90%+ on most songs, if trying to play them without Rocksmith, cant even play 50%
Rocksmith is great for helping with fretboard recognition but you don’t really memorize what you’re playing the way you do with tab. It’s purely reactionary instead of formative if that makes sense. I can play crazy stuff on Rocksmith then when I’m asked to replicate it away from my TV I’m absolutely lost, even if I’ve played the song 50 times. Music theory and tab are the way to go if you want to learn material but Rocksmith is great if you just want to blow off steam or have fun.
dude wtf. My rocksmith for Xbox 360 has NONE OF THESE badass songs. Just watched your War Pigs video. Do I have to get the computer version to be able to get/buy in the shop these great songs? Info would be appreciated.... thanks man. good work.
Lexi Law these are custom tracks.. they are easiest to use on the PC version. PS3 and Xbox 360 only on "modified" consoles. See customsforge.com for more info.
well, the alternating between open E and the octave with it is wrong. that should bee the 7 on the A, and the 9 on the D and G strings, with the E out of it.
I was talking to my friend and I was explaining how cliff died, and she started laughing so I asked her why, and, you know what she called him, CLIFF BUS-TON.
Ive never seen Bells played with so little energy
lmfao
Cliff plays chords in the verse riff
Coltallic that's what I was about to say.

Not double notes, chords, and when you finish the vibratoe you have to make a slide to the first fret.
toca con ganas!!!
Question.. I have a 5 string bass.. will that work with this game

not you'r fault, but damn, the begging sounded awful, pitch corrected for sure
It's mostly wrong though lol
I tried quite a few versions of this custom. I know it's messed up, but this is the closest one to the track.
Nah close enough =)

tee hee whom
Yeah um... ZERO aggression champ.
I was talking to my friend and I was explaining how cliff died, and she started laughing so I asked her why, and, you know what she called him, CLIFF BUS-TON.
Thumbing this video down because of the lack of energy you show in this song. it was quite boring
you can play this intro on guitar
I hate it people play thrash metal with their fingers. It sounds like crap to me.
Have you seen Cliff Burton. He played with his fingers, and it sounds pretty amazing...... XD
depends on the player
Steve DiGiorgio play with fingers
The point is to have the good attack at the good position, agressive and accurate
Sure? Look at Cliff. ruclips.net/video/qdlQyNe_9tE/видео.html
