I love buying the cheap glides and modding them. I do the mod milliken fishing taught me about by trimming down the joint with a dremel. I will also add the wieght tape if need be and of course change the cheapo hooks out. Great video.
You are giving it a great shot to get the best results out of swimbaits, but so far they don't seem to be as effective as non-swimbaits. I hope you're right that that is due to time of day and/or what the bass are feeding on since I now have quite a few swimbaits...
Yeah I think they're like any other bait they have their time and place and depending on you know size color everything else there are times to be throwing a swimbait times not to be anytime Fisher looking up these Glide baits are a good idea but the majority of the time soft baits maybe the better choice same way with like a jig more soft plastic on bottom
do you have issues with these leaking? mine started taking on heaps of water after 1 day and now sinks like a rock. I also ordered 3 and only recieved 1 and its been a year lol
@@Khaibu1999 no I don't use a ton but so far no leaking issues but I'm sure they're built way cheaper than the originals.. I'm guessing you could super glue the edges if the baits are worth it..
I mean. It's just injection molded plastic. That's what they all are. Putting a 50 dollar tag doesn't make it automatically better. And a paint job doesn't mean much. Almost none of them look like anything real to us. Think about it. A bone color? All black? Then the neon pink lures? Come on. Put decent hardware on them and you should be okay to go.

@@bassnbonsai do they sink or float for you?
@@Khaibu1999 I think they more or less suspend and some at different depths and others just depends
