this album is EXTREMELY underrated. spoke to kurt at three links last year in dallas and asked why he didnt have this cd for sale on the table, he said he didnt think anyone liked this album. like, what? this is absolutely on my top 5 albums by d.r.i. i love the drums on every song. girl with a gun is my favorite track on it. 🤘🤘❤❤😍😍
I've seen D.R.I. maybe 5 or 6 times and everytime They Kicked Total Ass..I don't have much music by them.anymore . Friends turned into thieves and I got ripped off. So it is a nice Treat to listen to them on here. They will always be one of my favorites.
Kinda beat seeing Kurt Bracht sellin me a Thrash Zone shirt...but, want something done right and keep honest folks honest, guess you'd do it yerself. MORE IMPORTANTLY, HOW WAS THE SHOW, my guy???
Saw them 1987 first time, at a monday night inZÜRICH SWITZERLAND!! The club was Z33, realy small!! In the Niederdorf, old town of Zürich...absolut madness😊
'89 at 1st Ave. in MN for me. If anyone reads this, it was when they still had the 'speaker walls' on the main floor, not raised yet. Fucking ears rang for a week. Was f-n rad a.f.
Eh, after their last EP being an absolute flop, I think they should just stop. I love their older stuff though, and my favorite album by them (Full Speed Ahead) is one of my favorite albums ever.
@@jakezillaofficial Yeah, they said when they released the EP it was to really test the waters to see if there was any interest in a new album, because the band didn't see it worth releasing new material in this day and age when no one buys new music. Sacred Reich felt the same way, but they eventually did. I have the EP, and I like it, but the issue is 2 of the 5 songs are old songs. I like the new songs but but I'm not a fan of bands re-recording old songs.
This is one of DRI's best albums. It's one of those albums that if this is the last album you'll ever get from the band at least they left on a high note. I hope to still see them live someday.
They did leave on an extremely high note. After some lackluster albums (Four of a Kind and Definition) they really got back on their game with this one. I wish they’d actually acknowledge this album, it isn’t being produced on CD anymore and they don’t play anything from it live.
@@jakezillaofficial I love 4 of a Kind and Definition, but I think this album is stronger than Definition. I love Definition for the songs Acid Rain, Hardball, Don't Ask, Let it Go, and Application. 4 of a Kind is probably their most commercial album, but too many classic songs like Suit and Tie guy, Manifest Destiny, Slumlord, and I still sing the song Dead in a Ditch all the time. As much as I like this album, there's not a DRI album I dislike, Thrash Zone probably ranks the lowest with me, and I even love that album.
@@Gregbaltzer My favorite albums by them are Full Speed Ahead, Crossover, Thrash Zone and Dirty Rotten LP. The only album by them I’ve disliked is Four of a Kind. I like the mix on Definition and Acid Rain is a banger, but it suffers from the songs (sometimes) lacking in variety.
@@jakezillaofficial They played Syringes in the Sandbox at their 40th anniversary tour date in Austin. Was fuckin sick to be in the pit for that one. Scored a couple CD's and a shirt from that night too
@jakezillaofficial what are saying? 4oK and definition are not as good? Um, then crossover stinks too? This was a great comeback album, and I don't know if I even mean comeback. DRI is thinking lads music......

D.R.I. just empty space but don't trust me is a great Thrash-Core band and the pinnacle if others abuse.I love Heavy Metal more but Thrash-Core is not my prefered even being great and interesting in fact
