I'll explain my problem in case someone out there have the same issue:
I was trying to flash the fastboot file extracted with 7zip. Thing is that 7zip, by default, extracts a ".tar" file that is not really a readable folder to MIFlashTools. Used Winrar and done. worked in the first try.

i went back to stock rom and locked my poco f3 again, but sadly the fingerprint sensor still is not working, I came from miui eu where when it went to 13, fingerprint started not to work, is there still a way to make the fingerprint scanner work again in stock miui rom? thank you
I've flashed Baalam kernel with pixel os on my MI 11X. The battery life is worse. If I follow these steps, will the kernel also be reset to stock kernel?
sir, how about on locked bootloader ? please help..ive tried hard reset ,wipe all data,boot on safe mode but with no luck....
I have done everything u mentioned but the problem is my redmi k40 bootloader is locked and stuck on fastboot so mi flash tool says : Erasing not allowed in lock state : any idea what to do ???
