I've wanted to get into manga, but the Black and white made it hard for me but mostly I have trouble remembering to read the panels right to left instead of the otherway around.
I mean my first manga was colored (AoT No Regrets) so likeeee. But yea its pretty obvious if u do even the slightest research that its usually not colored
The fact that people keep saying the art of this manga is bad when they've never seen a Japanese manga before or even care that this is the style of comic that is what make it is what it is kind of made me sad.
The funny thing is that the art in this Manga and other Mangas are better than most modern American comics so yes sad that they think this is bad art. The only art in this book I didn't like was how captain America looked more so of his face.(I've only read the first book BTW)
As both a manga and Deadpool comic, it’s not that good. I don’t know why but most form of media (movies, cartoons, video games, etc.) in recent years always portray him as mercenary man child that breaks the fourth wall, which to be fair, is his character but he has his serious moments and is serious when the moment calls for it. This manga is pretty much is just repeat of that with the only difference is he’s now in Japan and All Might (from My Hero Academia for all the people who don’t read manga or watch anime) showing up for no reason. That’s also is another problem with this story, a lot of stuff happens in this manga with no rhyme or reason such as Hulk, Captain America, Loki, and Thanos randomly showing Japan randomly. I’m not trying to chop on anybody’s balls, if you like this style of Deadpool then you’ll like this manga but as Deadpool fan, I was just disappointed throughout.
As a Deadpool fan I found it pretty alright. I’m not disappointed in it, there were a few bad parts of the manga like the new characters (Sakura spider and neiro) were very bad. However that was the only bad part of the manga, everything else was good imo. It’s almost exactly what I would’ve thought of if Deadpool was turned into a manga. I kinda just wished it was more about him then him just hanging around other heroes all the time. Overall, it’s like a 7/10
@@Juanhernandez-zx7ktsame ngl, I liked it but Loki and Thanos showing up out of nowhere made 0 sense, they could've made made an original villain like a mob boss or a mad scientist, because Loki and Thanos are more of an Avengers thing. Not only that but i thought they took the Deadpool being aware that he's in a comic thing too far, most of his jokes were him being aware that he was in a manga, the book would've been even better if it was the X-Men instead of the avengers. But that's just me though 7/10 tbh, they should've had another villain instead of Thanos or Loki, and less aware that Deadpool is in a comic jokes.
Good review. I am an older Marvel fan who doesn't own much Manga and I thoroughly enjoyed it. This is actually the first Deadpool comic book I have bought. I prefer him as a supporting character and have all his appearances in New Mutants and X-FORCE including the recent X-FORCE: Killshot. This was a lot of fun and the story was OK. It was not bad at all. Also this is the same Deadpool from the regular Marvel comics according to Marvel editorial. There is no explanation of how or why he crossed over to another universe for this adventure and there doesn't have to be. That's the beauty of Deadpool. Some people complained that Captain America is acting out of character but this is a Captain America from another universe. I will definitely be buying volume two and checking out more Manga and Anime. I've been converted.
@@lastmanstanding7155 Thank you😊. I am old enough though to remember watching Battle of the Planets {Gatchaman Science Ninja Team} when I was four and reading the first translation of AKIRA in English in the 90's.
I've just finished it and loved it, So you can imagine my suprise when I saw the reviews stated, I was really pissed cuz I read the authors "omake" and his thanks to the readers and how he loved to illustrate the character he fell in love with after watching the movie. I read a few comics with deadpool and like the manga he was the exact same if not more maximum effort in the manga. Theres something about manga gags and the person who is known for capitalizing on gags that makes me curl up laughing.
I bought this at Walmart and so far besides the Mangas of Berserk, this has got to be my second favorite manga with my favorite Marvel Character in it. Glad I got to read it all before watching this so I can give my opinion that I love it and had a great laugh with every reference the book had
But Batman has also been in all forms of Media including anime too, so that means that Deadpool and Batman are the two most popular characters from there comic universe
ive read lots of deadpool comics and it doesnt feel that different from what he's usually like, besides being written by a different person. i really enjoyed it i didnt know people were hating on it
Tbh the him being aware that he's in a manga jokes got a bit repetitive because he has other jokes besides "hey I'm in a comic" and stuff, but I enjoyed it
The only issue I had is I thought they took the Deadpool being aware that he's in the marvel universe thing a bit too far bc he was mentioning manga tropes every panel, but in other Deadpool comics he makes other one liner jokes as well, the being aware stuff just felt repetitive imo, but otherwise it was good, having the X-Men involved would make it awesome
As a neet I will tell you some of how to read manga Firstly you should read right to left not left to right it will only confuse you if you want to know why they are like that because thats how japanese write Secondly manga is always black and white but sometimes it has color and if you want to read manga with color you should just go back to reading comic or read manhwa/manhua Third i recomend reading sololeving in manhwa you might like it...
Dude I love this manga it was funny and made a lot of references the best part about the manga was seeing Deadpool’s version of demon slayer funny as hell bro😂😂😂
This manga had a lotta problems imo, why was Deadpool one of Captain America's options? Deadpool is literally a mercenary who's not really associated with the Avengers. Couldn't they just send Spider-Man? He'd be way more useful. And when Deadpool meets Sakura Spider, she gets angry when he kills people? Like why the fuck do you think he has swords on his back? His whole career is murdering people. Also why are Thanos and Loki here? Genuinely what was their purpose?? I'm pretty sure Thanos had a reason but i don't remember Loki having one. And during the final fight, they just have All Might come in, steal this man's kill, and fly off... Genuinely do not understand why they did that, the whole story is basically redundant since Deadpool ain't even get to finish the job. At that point just get All might to run a fade with Thanos. And there way too many self aware jokes to the point where it got repetitive, Deadpool has other jokes besides fourth wall breaks and i feel like the creator didn't really understand Deadpool as a character.
"This manga is bad because it's black and white" bro def never red manga in their life

*Must hurt that Japan is not only better than Marvel at selling comics but also in using their own characters(deadpool samurai manga)*
Very True

This just shows how popular Deadpool is. He’s literally been in every form of media including anime
Deadpool Manga is goofy and fun
and honestly that's how it should be with Deadpool

I like it a lot for me is a YES and I wish they do more of it 😍
Same, it's so funny. I'd buy the second volume if I could.
I think this is a perfect idea and to add Deadpool always wants his own anime. only marvel die-hard fans know this

Nah this manga was good asf can’t wait to see it animated some day
I just bought it 3 hours ago and I just finished reading it. Love it so much!!! It was so funny and the art was soooo good ❤️❤️❤️
I'm reading it right now, and I love it! Don't care what anyone else thinks, it's freaking good!
i need more of deadpool manga
Dude I love this manga it was funny and made a lot of references the best part about the manga was seeing Deadpool’s version of demon slayer funny as hell bro😂😂😂
I think this manga is alright
Even if it's an experiment
I think marvel could do a few mangas but not that much
I thought it was funny. Idk why anyone wouldn’t like it.
I agree.
Cuz they're SJWs to hate against anime/manga
I have a blast with it
I love this deadpool manga it was funny that story was okay but I came for deadpool and stayed for deadpool 🤣

Bruh this manga is all about making fun of these weak characters and stereotypes
I thought it was good
Sakura spider needs her own manga hell marvel needs to get into marvel but let the Japanese work on it none of this woke shit
