I think this item was partially designed to also help deal with afk farmers. It is very slow, travels a long distance and can reach places most items and weapons can’t, whilst doing a lot of damage and knockback.
Reminds me of the Psychomandrake level 2, i think it should be, special attack in Crash: Mind Over Mutant fir the Nintendo DS. If you want to try mucking with things that have awesome tracking, you could maybe try Bone Bow? I dunno that it would work as well when invading, but 3 FP a shot is hilarious for how well it tracks. I have a weird storm build going with it that has zamor curved sword as my other weapon because… well… Zamor Ice Storm gets boosted by Jar of Alexander and Raging Divine Beast Talisman… but those two talismans also affect stormhawk bone arrows and the ash of war on the Bone Bow. So combine that with Soaring Sting Talisman, The Sting Talisman, and Divine Beast Helm which also boosts storms, and I can rapid fire tracking arrows for very silly ammounts of damage. Really… I need to test if golem great arrows get boosted for having wind effects too…
It's really effective in its simplicity: Players who disregard or forget the slow ball of light that clips through them pay for it painfully, but those who are aware of its danger get psychologically burdened with needing to keep an eye on its position at all times while also fighting the caster.

That's the same projectile the priest in the dark souls 2 dragon shrine fires at you. It's the same speed, same affect, but it doesn't make noise as not to alert people.
