It was filmed in the studio set in korea entirely. It was covid time so no travelling to america, besides the whole month was raining so they decided to film indoors
Dynamite received some backlash because it was in English - it was viewed as a superficial pop song, and none of the members had writings credits (sort of similar to the discord surrounding PTD). But the thing is, as you recognized, the point of the song was to make people feel good and happy. This is especially true considering how dark things were getting with the pandemic at the time of the release last August. BTS kept the song in English because they felt the lyrics were perfect for the vibe they wanted. It also made the song more universal for the general public around the world to listen to. And while the members may not have written the song, they owned every single performance with their signature flair.
and it did. It was successful at making us happy. They released this during quarantine and the peak of the pandemic, a lot of us were really down that time, I was so down that time, having a hard time and was really stressed. Now whenever I listen to dynamite, instead of feeling the sadness that I was experiencing that time, I feel happy and it feels so nostalgic to me ☺️ bts hav really mastered their art. What a fun review to watch. Your comments on the technical aspects of these videos are always so interesting, but your sincere enthusiasm at how well they portray who they are is just so enjoyable. They really are as sincere as they appear. As well as being massively talented.
Most people are saying they film this indoors because of COVID, *but it's not just that* (Daechwita was also during pandemic and was outdoors). *The problem was the weather, South Korea was under a Typhoon alert.* So it was much more convenient (and safer) to film indoors.

The thing that i like from your channel is that you did not created youtube channel for reacting only, but also to share, which is also pretty much useful for me as i learn about photo and videography. Exactly! BTS makes you feel what they want you to feel coz they’re sincerity and genuine emotions and happiness just shows! Also since they make their own music and are very hands on with the production they know the message the song delivers. Plus, as you’ve been seeing by reacting to their MV shooting sketch, BTS are always happy, having fun and enjoys everything they do together. BTS is the best! There’s nothing like BTS!
fun fact: if you remember in the butter mv, there is also an airplane in it. it’s because BTS actually has 2 song titled airplane. which is ‘Airplane’ which is under the album ‘Hope World’ by j-hope and ‘Airplane Pt.2’ under the album ‘Love Yourself: Answer’ and ‘Love Yourself: Tear’. so yes, airplanes’ are a thing lol.
I love the video so much, looking forward for your next reaction video 😘 Suggestions: - Boy With Love - Idol - Save Me - Fire - Dope - Chicken Noodle Soup - Airplane - Outro: Ego
Loved this video! The way you picked up on and showed how infectious their vibes were in the video and how passionate you were about how you loved the tools and effects they used. I think I’m getting a clearer idea of the kinds of video you find interesting besides the obvious showy ones like fake love and BST.
Love watching you be excited. Your perspectives are always interesting and informative. Just like you were talking about how their personalities are translated very well, your personality is coming out more and more. You are a nice change from a lot of RUclipsrs.💜

Dynamite has a very good vibe as you said And a lot of people know bts by this song Btw i like the extra clip that you added it helps a lot to understand better Thank you💜
Honestly, they can translate the vibe and emotions of the song even in the song itself so well. There's this song made for ARMY called We are Bulletproof: The Eternal from MOTS7 album. When I was listening to the whole album for the first time, I didn't know what to expect, because I like to be surprised, and I wasn't following the lyrics at the first listen either. So when The Eternal came up, I had no idea it's a song made for ARMY, but I'm not kidding, as soon as the melody started playing, I froze and then Jungkook started singing and even though I didn't understand a word, I started sobbing immediately. Because I just felt those emotions that they've put into the song straight away. I was honestly amazed at my reaction after I calmed down and went to check the lyrics. BTS are simply just... They were born for this. They are professionals at what they do and the best part of it is that they love doing it. And we can see, hear and feel that.
I love your analysis and feel like we should take a shot or something every time you say match cut because they are so good about it and now I notice how other videos don’t do a good job and it doesn’t feel as seamless a transition as BTS videos.
When I got the notification I was surprised because I for some strange reason thought you had already seen the Dynamite MV. Most people who started BTS with Butter go straight to Dynamite because it was also in English. I actually really liked all the input you added in terms of how BTS were able to translate their energy and personalties into this MV. The match cuts and camera angles is what first caught my attention the very first time I ever watched this music video.

While Dynamite has gathered 1.1 billion views (and just reached 1 billion streams on Spotify), BTS actually have two music videos with even more views. This includes their songs DNA, which reached 1.3 billion views last month around the time you reacted to it. The other is a song titled Boy with Luv (or 'A Poem of Small Things' in Korean), which just hit 1.3 billion views this week! Correct if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure they HAD to film everything indoors because South Korea was under a typhoom alert.
