    Well l have become your admirer of ideas and crystal clear exposition. I liked the first part of your talk. Rahul's lonely battle against all odds is well brought out. But the connection with Prophet/ Jesus/ Buddha's search for truth and the inability to perceive it by Modiji is far fetched. Modiji is not sagacious enough to see such greatness in others except him 😂. I feel he wants to show him a ineffective, immature, dilettantish Muslim, Moghul Prince that's all

    Sir, when a person's long-held dominance is suddenly threatened, their ego fiercely retaliates by demonizing the source of the threat. To safeguard their perceived superiority, they seek refuge and support from what they consider supreme. By calling him a Muslim prince, he has deliberately alienated Rahul from the majority Hindus.
    This is what I perceive! I maybe wrong!

      @@Dadasahab1234 It is not a question of becoming a president or member . Rahul Gandhi joined congress in 2002 and became president in 2018 . My dear we must see it as choosing a profession / occupation of our ancestors. It is not only in politics but in every field including armed forces .

      @@user-mh6dm3km9h Why not? Dynasty is dynasty. Not acceptable irrespective of where it comes from. Dynasty is found even in our ancient scriptures. They are not to be blamed. Some are born leaders. Some are made leaders. Some are forced to take up leadership. Some are thrust upon the gullible as leaders. It is the people who make them whatever they become. And I will not find fault with the people either. They have the right to do so.

    Your idea may be a flight of fancy, as you said, but in the process you're raising expectations from RG too much. Unfair to him.
    In my opinion, the time has come when humans give up this dependance on individuals. In a democratic world it has to be teamwork. The concept of so called great leaders has to be toned down at least.

      True, but leadership matters.

    • @MyBharat1st
      @MyBharat1st 21 день назад

      Absolutely. People with true leadership qualities and abilities are aplenty. Imagine the number of good leaders 150 crore Indians can provide with excellent ability to work as a team to lead India into a great future. They just need to be encouraged and allowed to take up leadership. Our mentality has to change. We must regain our lost self esteem. We need to grow up to believe in ourselves and in our children. I keep asking many of my friends running prestigious educational institutions if they focus and develop leaders in their institutions! Are we suffering from some hangover of the last century??

    • @152manoj
      @152manoj 20 дней назад +1

      @@MyBharat1st Not just the last century. Maybe a hangover of the hierarchical system which we were afflicted with for some thousands of years. The culture of bowing to authorities or even becoming lackeys to them continues. The leaders decide, others' opinions or dissent don't matter and may even be treated with contempt.

    Professor you do have quite an imagination because of your vast literary background 😅. I enjoy your English Literature explanations. Years ago English Literature was my subject in college. However I can hardly call myself well versed in it. I am a Christian mainly because I was born into such a community. I tried Christian Science for about 10 years hoping to learn the magic of being able to heal my son. I liked it's theory but it's practice is extremely difficult. However my daughter and son-in-law who live in Trivandrum are staunch believers and I am genuinely happy for them. I have read some new age spiritual writers and was very inspired. I also visited an ashram and although it seemed quite thought provoking it seemed alien to me. My relatives are not sure what I believe 😂. Sorry to bore you with my story story telling
