I think they'll establish Mutants and Inhumans as basically the same thing, just that Mutants have their powers unlocked naturally, and Inhumans have to be subjected to some sort of outside influence or technology. Not getting "erased," just mostly merged.
I agree
i hope they do this
What's the diffirence between Inhumans and Mutants at comics?
Basically marvel hates the inhuman idk why
@@IncognitoChannelNumbers Inhumans are just more athletic and healthier humans until they undergo the Terrigen Mists, which activate their powers.
When Kamala's father says magic, I tear up every time... because the magic isn't his child's power but it's Kamala herself. That shot just resonates with me so well.

I really like the fact that the mcu has gotten so big. I really like how we've got 3 different stories going on all at once. We have street level stuff, dimensional and multiversal stuff and then space stuff. It makes the universe feel huge.
Yeah, the mcu is literally the only franchise that can do all that right now. It’s amazing
Maybe too big but maybe that’s just me what I doubt
I mean we’ve kinda had that going on for years but I get what you’re saying. Avengers= street level thor and guardians of the galaxy= cosmic/space and dr strange= dimensional (obviously others are included but these are just some examples) then they all cross over at points to merge different aspects together. And that is why marvel is the best 🥰
youre the first person to actually make this point now its really a Universe. i just wonder how they're gonna tie it all together. i have faith tho.
Yea But going nowhere with it.
Hmmm…I’m wondering if the snap could have caused a spike in active x-genes? Like before thanos caused the blip, mutants would come out of the woodwork but just very very rare. And now post TWO infinity gauntlet snaps which likely sent a lot of cosmic radiation across the planet, maybe that could have been a big “on switch” for some latent x-genes.
nah phase4 writters are not so clever...
FOUR snaps
How would that explain professor X?
@@KiddFelonyTV read the first half of his comment.
@@prasantadutta on earth there were only 3 snaps, 1. Thanos on earth in infinity war
2. Hulk’s snap to bring everyone back
3. Tony’s snap to erase Thanos and his forces
The explanation of Kamala being tagged as a mutant because that’s what the original comic creators probably wanted before being pressured to change it to Inhuman is my favorite explanation and bit from this video. It wasn’t a big deal that Marvel studios changed this, but it did seem strange to me since Inhumans were JUST confirmed in the multiverse at the same time as mutant. This makes it kind of a homecoming for the character.
I'm hoping we see some familiar mutant faces or names in the coming projects. I've been waiting for mutants to arrive for years; glad that wait seems to be ending soon.
I want them to start with more unknown mutants introductions then slowly introduce the popular once
I hope they kick it off with Gambit..
@@chrisconnors9449 I would love that myself.
@@joshbrosh6626I agree.
I mean, it'll probably be Phase 5 before we really lean into mutants, so a bit of a wait still, but nice to see the groundwork starting here in the back half of Phase 4 as they introduce the idea of mutants and identify a couple existing ones.
They never answered WHY the Clandestine group was "exiled" to Earth. There had to be a purpose for kicking them out of their world and into ours... unless it was "accidental"... lIke they found a portal to Earth that closed behind them and now they were stuck here? I would've liked a little more clarity on that matter.
This could form the basis for a season 2 of Ms. Marvel.
Do you think secret wars would address it?
I mean it’s pretty obvious they’re evil so they probs did something in fact evil
it story is irrelevent to what they are trying to potray and also it is important to leave stories like that for future. this is not a finale for the entire MCU
Probably bc they wanted to expand their world over our world
Why is no one talking about when Kamran was angry and losing control of his power, the way Kamala walked up to him is so similar to how Wolverine walked up to Phoenix in Xmen:The last stand? The moment I saw that scene, that's the first thing that cane to my mind. No one seems to mention it
Same here.. the last stand vibes
The actual theme of X-Men: The Animated Series playing in the background as Bruno says "MUTATION" was awesome. It's like Curtis Connor said to Spiderman about his mutation leading to him becoming the Six Arm Spider.
The World belongs to the Father Almighty God and INFINITY , the Power is mine , the WORLD Belongs to Father GOD .🤔

I literally got chills. That series will always have a special place and this throwback was ❤
@@sanaaahmed7844 lol, same here. glad I'm not the only one. :D
The X-men theme playing after Bruno said "Mutation" is by far my favorite moment of phase 4, right next to Tobey and Andrew coming out of the portals.
too bad they didnt the theme for cap america after been mutated by soldier serum, or hulk mutated by gama explosion, or to spiderman after radioactive spider bite.
Agree
@@wolvewick4414 literally lol at this point what’s the criteria for a mutant
May have missed the whole point of the video, but seeing Blackbolts death again is still one of the most twisted looking things for not being too graphic.
It is ridiculously graphic for the film's rating, just too quick to take it all in at normal speed. If you go frame-by-frame...
@@TheThird1977 his eyes when you go frame by frame is pretty disturbing

While not perfect, this episode brought back a lot of the good feelings that I had in the beginning, but lost in episode 4 + 5. Happy with the conclusion.
And probably one of the stronger finale episodes of the marvel tv shows so far.

True, episode 5 just felt rushed
That was my thought too.. though id say episode 3 is where it went downhill for me

I love how everyone has been complaining about phase 4 even after feige said he had a plan for mutants. Noone saw this coming!! Speculation from wandavision, falcon and winter soldier, eternals, shang chi, and more! Just shows how much they know what theyre doing over there.
This series was soooo good. I enjoyed every minute of it, and Bruno is probably one of my favorite side characters now.

Just like in the comics!
The digitized Ms Marvel in the opening can be a nod to the infinity war post credits scene when fury to contact captain marvel right before he got dusted. Or not but that’s what it reminded me of and then in the post credits scene here we see captain marvel
Nice catch!!!
Honestly when this series was first announced I was expecting it to not be as good as it was. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed it.

I do not think that they are completely side stepping Inhumans. I think they realize that inhumans are mutants and honestly could be just a side branch in mutant society rather than their own thing. I believe we still get inhumans but attached to the X-men and fantastic four
The best workaround to unconvolute things is have InHumans be the ancient isolated "purebloods" (morelike incestuous game of thronesy mutants) who have had no interaction with the outside world for ages
Subsequently they form their own traditions/culture/scientific methods around initiating/triggering mutations safely with the terrigen mist cocoon process
whereas our mutants are the "free range" variety who developed naturally were quite rare (Selene En Sabah Nur Exodus etc) descended throughout the millenia had more randomised outbreaks based more on external stimuli (ie: stress/trauma etc) & eventually puberty.
I agree. Similar to how in the Inhumans tv series, some of the people on the moon when exposed to the mist never got abilities and were still just regular humans. Possibly, because they did not have the mutant gene.
No I don't like this, the origins are different and don't need to mix up. Inhumans are alien experiments and need the terrigen mists and cocoon, mutant are humans evolving and that's it. It's the most simple way to distinguish them.
@@MariaCalore I agree the Inhumans come from the Kree not the Mutants. 2 different races. Ms Marvel is not a mutant.
Honestly, I think in the mcu they'll call both xmen and inhumans mutants, but ome groups Is born with their powers, the other has to interact with terigan mist to get their powers
*Terrigen*
Also, Inhumans are not Mutants! Wait, are they?🤨🤔
Neither are "born with powers". They are born carrying the genetic potential to develop powers.
Inhuman and Mutants are completely different
@@Poloswag1017 and it would make perfect sense to. Seeing that the inhumans where literally only created to replace the mutants because legally they couldn’t use the word “mutants” anymore.
One thing I noticed was that when Kamala teleported (?) in the post credits scene it looked very similar to how nightcrawler teleports in the xmen movies
It would be cool if the snap activated the mutations of a lot of mutants in infinity war which would give time for them to have developed off screen during the five year period. Then we could go back and look at life during the five years and see the emergence of mutants during flashbacks maybe, and focus on where they’re at now in the current day MCU.
Gamma radiation from multiple snaps...i could see this activating latent snaps. The first thanos snap was the first wave, second snap from hulk the second wave that brought everyone back, third wave by tony stark then gave everyone who was snapped back their mutant powers, so everyone was activated.
Also matches what was established in eternals where earth's celestial was activated or sped up because of the snap, so the snap did in fact have universal effects.
The gamma radiation was also verified as a "thing" as that was how avengers found thanos on his farm planet by searching for gamma signatures
The World belongs to the Father Almighty God and INFINITY , the Power is mine , the WORLD Belongs to Father GOD .🤔
🤫
That's a really good idea 👏
I love how this series satisfyingly resolved.
I feel like in the future the movies are going to introduce inhumans properly, but they will almost exclusively be involved with cosmic/ alien plotlines and mutants will typically be more active/ relevant in Earth central plot lines.
I don't mind that.... Though I feel the main Inhumans should still be from Earth
Nah, they’re not gonna do that. Introducing Inhuman’s would be too confusing for causal viewers who don’t know the difference between the two. Mutants are more popular and are gonna be the main focus of future projects, so it would be to messy to shoehorn in Inhumans
Yup
The World belongs to the Father Almighty God and INFINITY , the Power is mine , the WORLD Belongs to Father GOD .🤔

@@jandm4ever716 if Marvel only introduced them without providing proper context for their differences and origins, sure I would agree with you. However Marvel has not really stepped up to the plate expositionally-speaking to explicitly place these specific details yet, and we are only now just getting hints and reveals of their existence. They have an abundance of material to synthesize into a way where they could co-exist and be mutually exclusive based on their potential differences. How that is set up and illustrated will pave the way for casual audiences to learn more!
I also kinda thought the opening, "Youths with powers" scene, is also a nod towards a law that's kinda in the comics about kids with powers, called the Kamala Law (yes, after Ms Marvel/Kamala Khan)
Also aren’t the Sokovia Accords still in effect?? Cause I’m pretty sure they required “enhanced individuals” like Wanda to be registered by the govt?
I don’t think the DODC had to reverse engineer anything. Have we forgotten that it was established in Spiderman: Homecoming that the DODC was started by Tony Stark??
2nd favorite Disney series to Loki. They had such a good energy throughout and I feel like I learned so much culture-wise. I wish the Clandestines were better but that’s my only qualm.

I keep going back to that scene in endgame where rocket is talking about how when thanos used the stones to destroy stones, it created a serge of cosmic radiation across the globe. That scene was in the movie yet nothing ever came of it, so I still strongly believe that will be one of the factors in introducing mutants, and I believe that that will be the cause of the awakening of the x gene. But then I want traditional mutants like professor x and magneto etc to be introduced by Wanda saying no, more mutants which then brings some of the traditional ones from another universe into ours. Or at least through some incursion.
The scene where they are surrounded by Damage Control at the school and everyone in the community goes there to help (thanks to Zoe) reminded me of some raids I've seen in the UK to deport immigrants, were the whole community goes there to stop the police in an act of great kindness towards others that might even be total strangers, it was one of my favourite scenes in this episode. Although I agree with your criticism in overall I loved the show's creativity and originality... I will be having a look at the comic books!
Does that really happen? That’s really cool.
@@willcormier8485 Yes it happened in Glasgow about a year ago
What an unexpected way to introduce mutants in the MCU formally; we’ve had hints in WandaVision an other movies but this is the first time they’ve done it in a direct approach.
Was anyone else confused when Kamron said Najma was trying to save their world? I thought the clandestines were just trying to get back home, not save it? Plot hole maybe?
The last two episodes where rushed and feel full of plot holes
Najma's plan may have been more involved then what the rest had in mind
9:37 Aadam also mentioned it in episode 3.
10:25 Clever substitution, Erik.
17:47 You’re so right about that distinction.
17:56 Only one of the Runaways, specifically Molly, is a mutant in the comics.
By far my favorite Disney+ Marvel series. It hit so close to home and wrapped up beautifully.
Ngl, I could see Blue Marvel being introduced into the MCU via a mid credits scene of The Marvels. It's perfect
I've been waiting so long for mutants. I'm so happy and excited to see where they go with this.
Me too! But it’s lame and dumb to bring them like this
Making Ms.Marvel a mutant is just lazy
I been waiting for this ever since I saw the last episode
I think what we will see and what this is leading to, is for Kang to have control over the 'sacred time line' he had isolate the various teams in their own time lines. X-men, Fantastic Four, Inhumans, etc have existed but isolated from each other.
What we are seeing post Loki events are more and more micro incursions. The details are there but it's so scattered no one is making sense of it yet.
Was waiting on this all day

MUTANTS ARE HERE!!!!!!
I just got done watching the scene of them name dropping the “Mutation” in Ms Marvel then I got this notification
Winning in 2019 and 2012 could be a nod to how Avengers and Endgame were major wins for both the Avengers, and Marvel as a whole. These were both pretty historic moments in cinema- with Marvel as the impressive party.
Can't wait for the Marvels to come out.
Same here next year
Yasmeen Fletcher's (Nakia) dad plays the JCPD cop with a beard in the finale. He is also an actor.
I think the agents might be based on Lockdown and Discord, a pair of Ms Marvel villains who work for Hydra

I loved this series, they did well with this and the finale was like icing on the cake with bringing in a bridge for the X-Men to come back into the fray. I just want them to really do good with the X-Men now.
So glad they gave Bruno the honour of the first mention of mutants 🥰
Loved loved ❤️ this series, they did beautiful work combining their culture and coming of age for Ms Marvel!
When Bruno said “mutation” I screamed in shock with my mouth open for a full two minutes while my dogs and boyfriend looked concerned. I was just blown away even though I suspect an inhuman conclusion but not MUTANT. Biggest shock of joy since No Way Home

When Waleed is looking at the Earth/Noor Realm map it was centered over the Indian Ocean... where a certain dead Celestial is right now maybe.
Kamran acting the way he did is just him taking all the bad things he learned from his family into action, though he knows better so he got over it when he received hope. 🥺❤️
Deadpool isn't a Mutant.
While yes, he was part of X-Force and has links to the X-men in general. He is not a Mutant. He is a Mutate.
With wanda and quicksilver power unlocked from an infinity stone and now kamala's from the bracelet. If certain energy can unlock the mutant gene, is it safe to say that half of earth's mutant gene was possibly unlock by one of the stone after hulk's snap? Maybe each individual power set linked to a certain stone? 🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️
I want Agents of Shield to be cannon so bad! I know it probably won't happen but it would be so cool.
Part of restoring the Statue of Liberty would be to apply a patina that would help to preserve the surface from uneven pitting, it would not have been left bare.

It’s a stretch, but have they confirmed that Ms Marvel is part of 616? Could the green Statue of Liberty be an indication that this is a different timeline/universe with a lot of similar events to 616?
Kevin Feige confirmed it
They did.
I won't lie, I wasn't really interested when this series was announced. However, this turned out to be a super fun series and I really hope it continues.
Compare Kamala's teleportation effect with the effect from Pip doing "drunk teleporting" in the mid-credits scene of Eternals.
I agree with you, this series was awesome! The story line might have been weak, but the performances, writing and feel good vibe was sensational 🤩
I'm a huge fan of Agents of Shield but like it or not the Inhumans aren't as interesting amongst the broader MCU audience. I personally don't have a problem with the amalgamation of Inhumans as Mutants
I've been re-watching Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D (Im on s4) and I was sooo hoping to hear them say Inhuman. I LOVE Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and REALY want it to be canon!!
Aren’t inhumans altered experimented mutants by the kree ? And mutants like X-gene ones just random in heritage. So they’re both the same mutation just one is forced through kree science and one is random
Pretty much. The reason why Perlmutter pushed them in the late '00/early '10

I want Doom to be in the MCU but as Kang is this phase main antagonist, Doom shouldn't be a one off villain. He should get the same treatment as Thanos. I want him to be an Avenger level threat.
Yes
I don't think this video has the AMA the actress just did confirming the oringal writer wrote Kamala to be originally mutant and Kamran not being mutant (i.e. the bangle activated latent x gene).
20:17 The ribbon like teleportation reminds me of the teleportation they do in the later Harry Potter films. I can't remember specifically what they were though
Dawg I'm so excited!!!
Introducing Mutants like this makes it really iffy depending on how they continue to handle it. The biggest thing is, why haven't we seen any thus far. Not only that but unless there are some secrecy additions to the lore, there are a bunch of Mutants that get heavily messed up.
Why haven't we seen it so far? Cuz it is most likely that most x-genes are dormant in the MCU pre-Endgame. Marvel can easily reason out that the two snaps on MCU Earth that Bruce and Tony did, took a toll on the dormant x-genes, that it suddenly got slowly activated.
For special mutants who need case per case explanations, like Magneto (because of his history), that's the challenging part, but all other mutations can just be reasoned out by the 2 Earth snaps on Endgame.
I agree that the one weird inconsistency is the statue of liberty in this series. They must have made that choice on purpose, right?
Excited to see the first pretty legit mention of mutants in the MCU. Also, decent video, however I did notice a couple of rough blue screen keys in the video. Just something I happened to notice being a video editor myself.
