Aye Bryan it's Llama_Lucas, the guy who was originally up against damien. I had more votes as well and he overrode it. He said dude wen't faster and popped higher. I woulda voted for the other guy personally, he has a great style. but yeah it's completely unfair. I felt bad for the homies that stayed up and watched it and voted for me. I'm glad you made this video, it made me feel a lot better. It was a taste of a dream to me that got snatched away, regardless I was thankful for my first feature on the berrics. Motivates me to push harder and come out with better submissions. But i'll be sure to rock some Cariuma gear when i do haha. Great video homie

I always felt bad for Berra because of how many people disliked him but this is crazy. He knew exactly what he was doing when he chose to make his vote matter more than everybody else's but then acts like he's being bullied when he's called out for it

The same thing happened to me during a “vote” for the best Berrics Bounty trick. When the bounty was bigspin hurricane I was put into the honorable mentions for doing it on a ledge with an extra fakie bigspin out. I will admit, my submission was not the best one, but I had a lot of people in the chat voting for me. There were so many messages voting for me so I should have at least gotten some recognition for it, but just like this situation, Berra voted and thus overpowered everyone else’s votes, even though it was supposed to be a “chat votes” type of deal. All he did was say my name when it was in the chat and voted for somebody else himself. I should have at least gotten some recognition for not only 1 upping the original bounty but also being the youngest person in that group to do the trick (age 14). I’m not salty or anything but it sucks what happened to your friend and it sucks that we’re all getting screwed over. Again, I don’t have anything against Barra or the Berrics or anything like that, but I do think he should have stuck to his word and let the chat vote like he said. :/

The Berrics really fell off in the last years, I remember the good old times when I was checking on the website everyday what they uploaded that day and watched all the videos, not only the BATB and shit was great. Off the grid, skate or dice, trickipedia, first try fiday, the manual competition with the blocks...it was lit. I remember watching Nick Tucker's Golden Hour on repeat. Nowadays it's wack as fuck. His skaters? Wack! His formats? Wack! His sponsors? Wack! The way BATB is doing? Wack! Cariuma? Wack!

I stopped watching the berrics when Mike Mo got broke off yet again in 2016 and was out forever. If you were a real skater you could kinda feel a downward trend with the site. It went from being, if you aren't up with the latest on the berrics you aren't really following skating straight to cash cow. It's hard to justify it as selling as out since any successful business will reach a point where it becomes more about the corporate side than the consumer.
