Next up : Carlos Lastra road to prison
I’m dead lmfao
Can you explain it pls?
Lmao now that I’d watch
@@romaniv1437 Carlos Lastra has some PRETTY SERIOUS PEDOPHILE ALLEGATIONS that Dan Webz Posted and covered
dude 💀
I am 32, and I learned 5-0's in November. So, props to this guy.
27 and just picked up competing again. Had local sponsors back in high school.
Competed in a couple contests in a league in Colorado and got top 5 which then got to compete in finals at the California training facility against top 5 of other leagues across US. Contests start up again in April and I’m ready for the next contest season.
I've been thinking about skating a lot more just for the fun. If I get recognized at 36 years old, I'd be happy. Competed against Chaz Ortiz at Top Shop in Golden Valley, MN in 2008.
That’s tight bro💪🏽
I spent this last winter diving back into big air comp snowboarding at 32, got top 10 in 28 competitors (8th). just work out, stay limber, and practice falling safely. I think that goes for all impact sports in your 30s... well always, but more important the older you get, and fully doable if you devote time to it.
Sharkey kills it! If he stays consistent be could do it! Get him on the pod
He motivating me, I wanna make a road to flow series.
DO IT DO IT DOIT! Make time for your goals and you will SUCCEED.
Go ahead
Nobody has done it yet
Going pro at 30 is going to get views
@@yeetmeng7258 thank you,the only thing blocking me is money
Crazy seeing bro do this he’s always been hella good 😂🤘🏾 big ups my boy you got this im bout to cop a board & hit up
He has a video part that came out 10 years ago on RUclips and the trick selection in there alone puts him in pro level for me. I think he is already there just needs to be consistent with it and put out more footy & reach out to sponsors in the near future
wow he really floats around on his board.
he has a super smooth skating style
I started skating again at 36 got almost all of it back too. I wasnt doing hand rails but I had a mean frontside flip, could link tricks. Ended up hurting my back tho 😂
I am deciding that I wanna try it myself.
I am 25 and I started seriously skating at 18 or 19- and spent like 3 years getting a super good foundation on my ollie before ANYTHING else.(In all honesty I've actually spent my entire life skateboarding, I just never actually got anywhere as a teenager- like I literally struggled to ollie while moving until I was 18....also addiction issues made me unable to skate for about 5 years as an adult- so literally *just this past year* because i've only been clean for 14 months or so)
I literally just recently- like a cpl weeks ago- finally figured out how to kickflip correctly(and it was literally something that translated to every other trick and now me learning tricks has been dropping like dominoes)
And I have a really good foundation with the basics and shredding so I really feel like I could do it-
I just literally have no one to skate with or anyone to record me so I'm doing it all on my own. 😂😂o
Bro, it's crazy how similar we are. I'm 18 and have been skating around my whole life, but I've never been serious about it. I'm just trying to perfect my really janky ollie when I skate now. Also huge congrats on getting clean! Hoping you reach your goals and I think I might try as well.
Skateboarding in bali is soooo good❤️
Tbh. I’m 31 and randomly rekindled skating this year. Started my own series of trying new tricks. I’ve never been this good before and it’s wild. Something about hitting 30 and saying f it. Maybe you see your potential more clearly
same, also 31 and picked up skating at 30 again lol. hadnt skated in about 15 years prior.
I remember as a kid seeing chaz at warp
I agree, he needs to be consistent to have any chance at street league in a year. But darn it if his progress ain't legit!
Sharneys just funny as hell. Yeah he had to be sandbaggin with that kf crook 😂 probably has 'em every try. Did he say he was just hookin up with chicks in Bali, is that what was bleeped out? He's just funny to watch, I'll tune in for the episodes if they happen.
shawn owing like 300 at the end of the vid🤣🤣🤣
this was fun to watch !
Dudes always been pretty sick on the board though
Neighbor looks over the fence and joins in "Oh Fuc#$" lmao about the hot sauce
wait, this guy is the real world guts
Does he stay in sac I always see footage of him in sac parks but never seen him in person at any
Ngl knowing how sharney is he prolly gon quit for partying or sum bs😭
I was not patient for that vid bruh
Johnny Scoville drank an entire bottle of that plutonium all at once. Multiple times. The guy has an iron stomach.
He is really good, I just don't think he skates much but every time I see him he is really consistent.
Lol that angle on Chaz looking double chin come on Chaz 😂
So spot on haha
Sharney Rods is really skilled skater, he just focused on drinking, drugs and partying way too hard, similar to alot of the pros back in 90s/2000s
really good is not even close to pro. if you aint aiming to make it onto SLS then forget about it
@@jonathanpham7397that’s true, he could have been a really dope youtube skater though, prob not sls level
@@Jblizzybaby you gotta flip in and flip out on handrails in sls
I would start skating again in my 30's...but I don't have health insurance.
whats the plan with late club
31 is young as fuck 😂
This is the one, lmao that is HILARIOUS mentioning his age in this context. I’d be more understanding if it was 41… the only reason a 31 year old would be less capable in any way shape or form from an 18-20 year old would be if their responsibilities got in the way too much to take proper care of themselves/time to skate. What pro skater was worse at 31 then as a teenager? 😂
This was dope.
The skating was filmed at my local lol he’s always there
Love the content bro keep it up
31? About 13 years too late bro!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
He’s good skater. I hope he gets back into it.
Went to Bali to film new onlymans content 😂😂
My shoes don't feel like good flick tho 😂
I did the hot chip challenge, puked all in my truck omw home and I still can't eat hot shit at all now. Like even taco bell fire sauce.
The only person I want to see make a road to pro series is Zach Doelling. Dude is fucking insane and doesnt seem to be on the bullshit sharney is
plutonium 9 is the secret to landing tricks
nice!
Yo I’m thinking of doing one but going pro with my Fingerboarding haha I’m actually raw lmk if i should do a series
nuge did it
i was still with my ex when sharney started road to pro :|
He said need to know what the best are doing . There skating a lot!! Your not haha
sharney is good, but he never street skates, thats where its at
Honestly if he just films with the right people and makes the right connections he could
It’s just crazy people will watch this but not someone older whose been working their tail off to get to pro level 🤦🏾♂️
There is no way
These people need to stretch heavily at 31 to get the flexibility of a 13 year old
i don't understand how eating hot sauce will help him skate better...i guess he did land it tho
I like the motivation....but do you realize how INSANELY DIFFICULT it is to become professional?
😂😂😂
I wanna make a road to pro video
Why does Chaz Ortiz sound like that lol.
because hes mexican?
kickflip crook seems like weird place to start with flip in tricks to me. He stomped it so whatever... its irrelevant. time for kickflip back 50/50, kickflip back tail, and kickflip back lip.
Wait why would this be strange? I don’t understand the title
Shaun Rodriguez has challenged himself to get to a professional level on his skateboard at 31 years old. He is trying to achieve this in 1 year. He hasn’t taken skating serious in years, that’s what makes it more interesting
W vid
My sisters ex dogs cousin 😭 😂
15 to 25 are the pro-years. And you are not going to be turning pro at 25. That ship sailed. You won’t have a career and no company will invest in you. One main reason is kids won’t know you or relate with you. You won’t sell boards
Aight let's be real, his never going pro
Bro prayin on everyone downfall 😭
sprite
I mean this is obvious RUclips marketing .. he's not expecting to go anywhere near pro. Not a bad idea for more views though. He could make a channel just on the lifestyle like a lot of other skaters have done that aren't good enough to go pro
Is sharney washed chat?
I’m
Going pro at 34 so he can do it
Jk
All I want is to see this guy skate but it's talking the whole time.
The RUclips stuff about content for kids is wack, honestly you are a good example of someone who's working, but obviously you have to understand the criticism from some people looking from the outside in, Fetty, Carlos, Dan Corrigan, being on a relationship with the girl who is sponsored by revive. and Aaron being in scientology donating so much money... People are going to get weird about all that, come on, is not some hating stuff.
But what ever, I just want to chill and see skate videos, I'm just saying, don't be surprised if you get called for something you are not directly involved in.
What's up with Dan? Wouldn't expect him to be in the same sentence as Fetty and Carlos..
@@InexpressableI think people think he either started dating Haley before she turned 18 or is a lot older than he actually is, because of the facial hair and teeth. I can't speak on anyone's age when they started dating but Haley is older than I thought she was and Dan is younger. Idk about Cali but a lot of states let you date a 17yr old if their parents okay it. So although it's kinda creepy, if it was the case it wouldn't be illegal and it's way different than having relations with a 14 year old or getting drunk, sending underwear pics and feeling up on kids at work. Dan seems like a good dude
Bros making more views than you bryan!!!
You’re annoying bud. This guy is 31 but to be honest 28-33 is your prime in most sports.
I'm 31
That’s my local park
Right there off grant line! That park is fun to skate. Way better than wackford 😂
hes not very good
He talks to much. That's his problem.
He aint going pro
Considering skateboarding is a popularity contest now, yes he can
That dude is full of shit 😂😂😂😂😂, i remember when he posted the video telling he was getting sober and clean and a month later guess what lol
Yeah… that’s not how addiction works. It’s ok if he fails, it’s that he would continue to try, and absolutely can achieve it. As someone who has had multiple friends become addicts, and have always supported them no matter how many times they slipped, i hope no one ever has to rely on you. Also very cool you’ve been privileged socially/financially enough to have such a dismissive attitude on addiction. Try empathy one time, even if your parents have to buy you a lesson on it.
@@tadertot10really cool
You don't know me and i don't know you, so why you should care if I say something judgemental? Lol
@@JoseCelisss Truthfully because we all could use more decent people in the world, people who care about more than themselves. You could be a great guy and just be having a bad day, I’m not sure, but the comment reads as a deep seated lack of empathy, which is incredibly common… It’s 100% the easier way to live life, the “blue pill” i guess you could call it, but you’d be surprised how rewarding building up is versus tearing down is.
Btw, i really respect your point about having empathy, i really do. My point is that you can be around people and support them, but one day you'll be exhausted of not seeing any progress with them (don't get me wrong, I wouldn't say that about sharney if he was a friend or a sibling, but since he's someone I don't know, well...)
I don’t think he’s going to make it. Back when I was first learning, I wouldn’t try to Ollie into the crook until I landed like 50 crooked grinds in a row. THEN I would Nollie into it like 20 times in a row. I wouldn’t even try to kickflip in on the handrail until I had already landed like 10 to 20 kf crooks in a row on the ledge already. He is not putting in the work. You can’t just think positive, and magically create gains. Repetition is where The consistency comes from. You aren’t going to consistently kickflip into a crook when you can’t even ollie into the crook consistently. Come on now. Click bait.
I mean, it seems like he used to skate consistently. He already has alot of the basics down. I hear what you're saying though. Especially if you're coming back after a long break,. But hey it's skateboarding, there's no rules. I learned to fakie big heel before before I could I even kickflip.
your annoying
Let this be a lesson to not "try" and make content out if skateboarding if you like to skate skateboard bro but don't gas people up that you're going for pro that's unheard of in the our skateboarding universe we got to many posers who clout chase something that's not it let that shit go this foo did more talking than skateboarding
he better than u Bryan :D
