An exercise I do is Lindy Hop basic alone as "dancing," I'm thrilled to have these variations ideas--body (middle weight, side to side, rotation, still/small, arms); contrasts with arms, punctuation, turning (e.g. lock turn), fancy feet, slow down, speed up, stomp, pause, up high, down low; rhythm evens and odds, change beats. Single kicks looks like a great way to start that with solo steps, I love it. Thanks for the ideas, as soon as my downstairs neighbor wakes up tomorrow I'm on it! In SF our musicians have been getting busy again but no classes or workshops yet so these videos are amazing and I'm so glad you can do this without paywalling. 🙏
