- This is a video on how to use an iRig2 to get audio from your sound board or mixer to your tablet or phone for your video shoot/stream. The below link shows a little bit more of some of the equipment I use for video and audio.

Thank you! We have tried iRig2 several times with FB Live and we were never able to get it to output sound rather than the iPhone Mic. We wanted to eliminate house noise and just go through the board using an aux channel but never got the iPhone Mic to stop picking up. I'm going to give it one more try using your suggestions. Thanks!
Question what output you use for the connection on the sounds system?
so if you want record a video of a band play does every instrument have to run through the board to get the best sound
The best way is for all of the band to go through a board and from the board to iRig. This way you can get all of instruments to one signal and mix them.
@@LandonSpann thanks for the info👍🏼
hi can i use irig apps & camera video at the same time to record me playing
Yes! IRig supplies audio for the video. I use video apps and use iRig to supply the audio mix from a sound board.
@@LandonSpann thanks appreciate it
@@_azstudioNo problem. To clarify, I have not used the iRig app in conjunction with an video app. As long as the audio will play in the background then I believe it should work. I run my guitar or piano through the sound board to iRig to capture the audio for the video. If I play guitar, I always use my pedal board so I haven’t tried the iRig app with my video app.
@@LandonSpannthanks man. I'll give it a try.
hi, is there a thru/Fx switch ? Can I monitor my direct input signal from the iRig instead of the signal rerouted from the iPad?
Hi, there is a headphone input where you can monitor what is coming into iRig. There is also a through output on the opposite side.
@@LandonSpann nice Teachings there. How can I Record a Video with My phone using an IRIG as I Play an Instrument(Bass Guitar). Please advice. God bless you.
@@blessedf1341 You plug the iRig into your phone and then your bass into the iRig. Your phone will accept the audio from the iRig instead of the iPhone microphone when you record a video. You do want to make sure that you have an Apple headphones adapter for the iRig connecting to your iPhone or a certified Apple product that states it has recoding capability. I also use the app ProMovie+ for video recordings. It lets you see a bunch of video options including audio inputs and an audio meter so that you can see if you are peaking due to being too loud.
I hope this helps. Have a Merry Christmas!
