Thanks Aaron. I had to check-out SF 3185 (GP50) and more intriguing was BNSF 2544 which is ex. GP35, GP35u and now a GP39-3. Good to see IHB at Blue Island.
I was pretty young but I went toward a stalled Freight train car I was around a outdoor place with no gate between the rail are facility but i learned my lesson. cool video
Some of those folks look like they need the exercise, but, as a former SP brakeman back in the day, I don't recommend it. Can't blame people what with monster trains blocking crossings for extended periods of time.
People been getting destroyed by trains moving after again after stopping with people like here they do it around railroad in Sacramento California a lot and story 4 them doesn't end well
Just a couple of days ago a woman lost her leg while trying to climb over a stopped train. It happened in downtown San Diego. The train lurched and she fell.
My Dad was a Letter Carrier in the Carondelet Neighborhood in So. St. Louis, MO, and came home with Stories of some- one losing a Leg or Life on a Train. 🤪👎
I'm going to guess that Marathon was some kind of a fun run for a Tavern. No well-run event would consider going over active trackage @3:25 one of the characters is wearing a flashing EOT. That NKCR tone of paint is close to CP but actually reminds me of units operated by the US Army purchased in the last 10 years and have a bit of that orange tinge

8:39 better love that horn!
I like watching trains on the tracks but I don't like watching trespassers on the trains and tracks stay safe and thank you.
🚂🚃🚃🇺🇲:).
Reminds me of the short Operation lifesaver film called Byron’s last day 😢

This Houston activity is 18 months old. Slow day?

Just a few weeks ago, a guy in Blue Island lost his foot because he tried climbing over a stopped train. (Not at the cam crossing, thankfully)
There are towns in Indiana where this unfortunately is a daily fact of life, dangerous, but the railroads don't care

Perfect example of why people should never climb on trains, she will probably sue the RR too.
@@rickdee67She wouldn’t have a leg to stand on in court…uh, yeah.
Would the trains have had clearance at the back of the train if it had stopped before blocking the crossing?
They’re almost always going to Block Multiple RX Crossings the majority of the time they Stop in Populated Areas Vs. Rural Areas with Multiple Tracks.
That red NKCR unit has nothing to do with CP or CPKC, the color is a tribute to the University of Nebraska "Big Red" Cornhuskers!

A bunch of Darwin Award recipients.

That much pedestrian traffic, and God knows how long the train tracks been there, and still no pedestrian bridge. 🤔
Profit >safety .

eeek.!!!!!
If trains block grade crossings for long periods I am not surprised to see people crossing.
