  • I'd been noticing some seepage of water whenever the truck was in the rain a good while and decided it was something better to address right away. Found a glass guy who knows his stuff and got some good quality weatherstripping from Steele Rubber.
Had to do quite a bit of cleanup with the crunchy window frame. It was quite a job to get all the old hardened rubber out, strip the rust and gook, patch a few small holes and get it sealed up with rust converter and primer.
The windows are looking good, the small triangular windows actually open now and hopefully we're gtg for another 70 years!!

Once you have a severe eye injury and a few thousand dollars in medical co-pays, you will gladly wear eye protection Christopher. Ask me how I know. Thanks for sharing. Don't forget please, there are young car enthusiests watching these videos and trying to learn. Thanks

Should be wearing your safety glasses bud that stuff is nasty if you get it in your eyes. But keep up the good work. Thanks for posting your progress

Brought back memories of doing this on Edna. Edna unfortunately lives outside so we replaced all the cab glass and rubber seals

My truck will have to live outside as well, although I got a waterproof cover and we will make arrangements for storage in the winter.
