Spider-Man 2 was great, but felt more was needed compared to the 2018 game. Unnecessary stealth filler, and seems the ending was rushed. Most side quests was underwhelming with questionable messaging. Batman Arkham series is still the best superhero games to date.
Not really when the original PS2 gave you way more actual physics for web swinging this is boring and automated like always, and here you come defending it 😊

Comic accurate black suit, map doubled in size after many years since ultimate spiderman, instant fast travel, being able to play as both peter and miles, the progression of peters aggression and progression of the suit, underarm webs, mysterio, green goblin, venom with his comic accurate look, the lizard/dr connors kraven the hunter, being able to take civilians to ambulances, the massive improvements to the web swinging as well as new web swinging animations and mechanics i could go on about this game for a long time, the game has gone gold and now we continue to wait and be patient insomniac games you have done an outstanding job with this game and if it doesn't get game of the year then i dont know what will im so excited every day i check my library and see the game waiting for it to become available as of today 26 days 8 hours and 26 minutes the suspense is killing me but i am and will be patient as i have been since 2021 🙂

New York City getting upgraded is total hype! I know a lot of people were feeling a little ticked that Spider-Man: Miles Morales kept the same map size, so seeing more of New York is great! I wonder maybe some day in the future we'll get the entire city!

I agree. Transitioning seamlessly from the map view to gameplay in a couple seconds is ridiculous. Kudos to Insomniac for being the only dev at the moment to really put the fast ssd and i/o through its paces

So something I noticed is Peter in the base suit has a different hud color compared to Peter in the symbiote suit. It's intriguing.
Watching this vid multiple times now, The detail in the outro is crazy. When they show the spider logo getting engulfed by the symbiote u can hear it screeching as soon as it explodes to transition to the title. It’s crazy how much effort they put into those little things 👌🏾🔥
I loved how they sneaked in that Symbiote Raimi Suit, looks absolutely fantastic!

Yeah but there’s two characters they have to split the suits between so that’s like around 32 suits per character which was about the same as marvel’s Spider-Man 1. But there’s versions of each suit so that’s a huge plus. I’m hyped for this game man

@@Actiontime70 32 suits is sitll a lot. Thats how much Spiderman PS5 gained after all their updates and releases. So having that many suits at launch, and assuming releasing more as the game goes on, we'd still have many options. Not to mention an option to design the layouts of the suits now as well too.
Spiderman having a wingsuit to get around seems a bit dumb and takes away from the whole 'web slinger' thing that he's famous for.

at 2:34 when he fast travels down, you can see what looks like a sandy or desert area to the right? and to the bottom of it you can see another little area to the city where it looks like you can go to. I reckon there's more to the map than what they're showing.

I think it's safe to say, Insomniac are one of the few studios I CAN count on for Superhero games.
The Web Wing gliding genuinely looks like so much fun to use. I can't WAIT to play with that.
Yeah. Theres a lot of satisfying gameplay shown here. I'd like to see a spiderman and batman crossover game with this level of fidelity where I can switch between spiderman and batman on the fly.
