What great footage! Relaxing commentary and birds singing in the background. In all my years of visiting Minsmere, I have never seen a bittern so well of for so long.
I am so thrilled you have finally spotted a bird you went to see! Looking forward to the other video when you upload it. Went through Buttle Marsh on Saturday between Ludham and How Hill and that is apparently a designated place to encourage the Bittern, not that I saw or heard any.
Oh is it ? 😂 makes a change to see the bird I’ve actually gone to see . The Ibis has moved to Potter now but I’ve no intention of doing the circular 6 mile walk to see it. It had its chance at Horsey🤣🤣

Never seen a Bittern before, thank you for sharing x
No? They’re not easy to find but once you know their sort of places to hang out, you’re usually rewarded with a sighting.
what a funny bird lol , ive never seen one or heard them boom .
Only the males boom . I reckon you would have heard one when you were on a boat moored up but probably didn’t realise.
