My grandfather, Rev Bobby Peoples was an evangelist/minister and also had a gospel radio show and this was his theme song. It makes me teary eyed every time I hear this song. I miss him terribly, but this song makes me remember him and makes me happy, because I know he is with our Lord. I also believe he was friends with the Gaithers..

My Granny loved this song. She has been gone two years this May. My husband and I decided to give our daughter and first born her middle name. I try to play it for her as often as I can along with Amazing Grace. That is another of Granny's favorites. I cry every time I play it for our baby girl and she kicks. I always tell her these were Granny's favorite songs. I plan to tell her all about the wonderful woman she is named after.

When we had my mom's grandma's visitation the preacher meet with us and I asked him can we have ill fly away played and he said we will sing it at the grave site so we sung it at the grave site and I was one of the people that got to carry the casket for my grandma
