I think it is a great pedal... Accurate and easy to see.. I bought one used for $40.. A little hard to see when it off.. But I am old so I cant see crap anyway...
If you want to save money on a clone pedal, look for the the Union Station US-PT50. It sells for less and is a rebadged Pitch Black. I bought a N.O.S. one today for $10!!! They sell for about $25 on Reverb.
I am fixing the 9v connector for a friend's korg pitchblack chromatic tuner and I was wondering, with just an AC power or 9v battery, will the display turn on or do you need other devices connected to it?
Hello! So changing the hertz wont actually change the tuning as far as drop c or any real different notes for that matter. For standard tuning that most western music uses you want it set to 440. making it lower will very slightly make the notes flatter/ lower and increasing the hertz will make the notes slightly sharper/ higher. But not enough to make it the next note up or down. So if you want to tune to drop c you'll just have to know the note names which are C G C F A D and tune to those on the tuner and keep the hz at 440.

I love this pedal I’ve had it for years! Got rid of the Polly tune for this korg!

You usually need to have a 1/4 inch cable plugged into the input for pedals to turn on when powered
@@aaronarandac4 Thank you. I'll give it back to my friend and he'll let me know. Happy Thanksgiving!
The calibration on this device is useless as it doesn't have a 432 Hz preset. I bought one and now I'm so annoyed.
Hi how do you change the calibration from drop tuning? Such as drop c? I dont understand what changing the htz does...:(

440 hz on this pedal is when the calibration mode is set to 0
