- Carrowkeel Megalithic Cemetery, located in the south of County Sligo, is one of the four largest passage tomb complexes in Ireland. Dating back around 5,000-6,000 years, the cairns remain as an impressive legacy of the rich Neolithic culture that was active in the region at the time. Here, we take a look inside one of the best preserved and most significant of the cairns - Cairn G.
I from Galway not far south of this ancient monument.
This was very informative, well presented and to the point. I'm determined to visit there in the Summer as a result. Thanks.
Thank you, going back soon.
Awesome!
Thanks for this great video, I live about 10 minutes away from Carrowkeel. the people buried here are said to be god kings of ancient European origins, here before the Neolithic farmers came from the Middle East. they had dark skin and blue eyes. These guy found in 1 of these tombs was inbred just like the Pharaohs of egypt. these sites are older than newgrange stone hinge and the pyramids dating to sometime before 3700 BC
This was really cool!
They found the bones and removed them?
Yes an inbred man said to be a god king like the Pharaohs of Egypt
That's My Grotto
