Most of the above faults are not shown on the dashboard,(which is designed to shown frequently occuring faults to a very less extent). Rohit kumar i own both the cars both are top end petrol models. Polo has good raw power delivery and has good pickup and heavy metal body however lot of issues with availability of parts and also sensor issues which can stall your car in garage for days. Hyundai elite is a much better car in terms of every aspect. Close your eyes and go for elite. I am selling my polo to get brezza or nexon.

Hello gagan There are obd2 devices with gps & car monitoring functions. Easy plug & play devices but I read at some sites that it taps data bus of ecu & that can cause delayed response from ecu. Can you please explain if its true or just a myth.
Clearing the error codes won't create any issue. If its indeed a proper error, it will definitely come back, the same will be done at the dealer side also. It's the basic way to diagnose an issue. Many a times the sensors send fault data due to some reasons and due to that an error code will be logged, how ever its working properly. Before clearing the codes, it's always recommended to take a copy. It's not only for diy guys for fault finding, many have been complaining about poor mileage, however it's very helpful by understanding few params. It's easy to correct the driving pattern by checking few params. In simple words, an obd reader is a MUST device for a car driver.

In my opinion you are wrong. This is a very useful tool even if you do no know how to repair. Service centres charge huge amt for diagnostics. Quite often they also cheat you. I give you my experience. I have an 8yr old car. My repairs are done by my trusted local mechanic. Two yrs back my car would would suddenly start revving high and overheat. The radiator fan would not switch on automatically. The engine check light would keep glowing. My mechanic could not diagnose the problem coz it happened erratically. The company service centre gave me an estimate of over ₹ 20k. I researched on internet and bought this device for ₹300. It diagnosed the problem to Coolant Temp Sensor. A new sensor cost me about ₹200. Changed the sensor. Bingo. Problem solved. It saved me lot of money and headache.

well video sir but as you mentioned old cars before 2010 models most cars will have obd slots but they use obd protocol-1....and generally we use in our recently launched cars like...zest,dzire,bolt,ciaz,elite i20..etc they use obd-2 protocol...so old car also can use but they have to search up for obd -01 protocol device...on ebay or somewhere else....but gr8 video...

Bhai I have an i20 Sportz, and I have the same OBD II device. On the highway, Torque showed me an average of 13kmpl while when I calculated with tankful method for the same trip, it gave me 16.5 kmpl. I have heard its because the car doesn't have a fuel level sensor and the app presumes the data from throttle and air intake to generate a figure. Its close but not accurate, for i20 atleast!
