Was in Tirana some years back as part of our tour of the Balkans ending in Slovenia and catching the flight back home from Venice. Tirana is a lovely city, their struggle for Independence is admirable. The people suffered tremendously to achieve that freedom. A peaceful country..The Balkans gave a lot to offer.. that underground caves, the unforgettable waterfalls, lovely plazas, beaches and its history. Am reminiscing my tour :).

Go to Ksamil, because of the current situation you are gonna have all the best beaches there for yourself. I would also recommend Dhërmi, Saranda and Vlora, those have some nice beaches too.
Thank you for sharing your travel expirience in Albania. I really love to go there. Its one of my dream destination. I didnt know that Albania is open now for tourist even the pandemic is still there. Its like new normal . People are already outside and no mask . I love the accomodation it looks very clean and affordable. Very inspiring and i feel great after watching your video that you are now starting to travel during pandemic. I really feel good seeing that the other country is open now and the world is starting to go back into normal. Praying world's forever positive vision. That no more sad news . . No idea. All I know is that immigration was fairly easy here in albania.
Customs focus a lot on money laundry
Don't think twice just go and you want regret it take my word, the only thing is you want leave that country until you run out of money, I'm speaking from my experience there

I was last in Albania in 1995, with the US Army to train their Army. Most people got around by farm tractor and donkey. I was in an Albanian Army truck passing through Tirana from the airport and I mostly saw garbage and rubble. I remember watching a couple of guys with a freshly slaughtered lamb that they were trying to sell hung up on a stand with flies all over it. It looks like it changed a lot! To say the least!
You wouldn't believe how much has changed bro. Like night and day. Now Albanians drive some of the best cars in Europe 😜
Its sad that you had to experience Albania like that. You should come back....Albania is a very beautiful country and has a lot to offer for tourist from all over the world...Albania has about 4 to 6 Million tourist per year. Thats quiet a lot for country of 2.8 Mil. People.❤
