I was a student of Dr. BLACK at CAU. I won a writing contest as a freshman, $100. I cannot express....I don't have the words...because its a well of emotions that become active in my entire soul.....when I think of how absolutely amazing it was to be his student. He changed my life, he affirmed me.....it was the best most valuable experience that I have had in my life. The way he made me and my peers think....respond....show up....connect....love our Black selves. Surely this Dr. healed so many of us from the uncertainty and tattered existence of our BLACK SELVES draped over our spirits from the society.....I AM FOREVER GRATEFUL. I have all of his books...and attend a few seminars every so often. Any platform he is on and I can tune in...I DO!!
I have just been introduced to Dr Black within this past month while watching some snippets of Prof Hunter radio show now and he has become one of my favorite people like you Dr Carr ❤
Had to come back and watch this conversation again after Dr Black joined you ICWC on Knubia, recently, and still took more notes. Yes, it’s time for the follow up conversation - waiting patiently.
I love to see black people using all of their gifts. People love to put others in boxes but this brother didn't allow that and as a result, he's blessed many others with his gifts.
Though I di not attend CAU, I remember moving to Atlanta and it was important for me to walk on that campus as an HBCU graduate (FAMU). What I did not know that doing my graduate work at Kennesaw State University in Conflict Management that it would lead me to work with Dr. Joseph and Evelyn Lowery Institute for Justice & Human Rights. What an honor and privilege it was to be in that space for the time I worked on a project for them (and my thesis) felt meaningful. Would have loved to have met Dr. Black as heh does remind me of the gift of professors we had/have at FAMU
I'm wondering how and what would be the questions Dr. Greg will throw at our Big Brother, Wole Shoyinka when he appears on the Black Table and by the way, when are we going to have him??? Much Love and Respect for who and what you represents to humanity, Doc.
5 minute intro. I've had others say the same, no matter what the issue being discussed a person loses interest with such a long intro. Cut it down, thanks
Dr. Black is a living genius. If you ever get an opportunity to be in his presence your life will forever be changed! ✊🏽💕

Thank you, Dr. Carr for addressing the “We” in The Coming. I had the same observation. Dr. Black is a brilliant writer.
One People, One Flag, One Destiny!
We are not ashamed of MUSIC that was gifted to or bestowed upon us. Ear training to Note reading and back. 🎶
