That is one tired set of barriers! I'm sure I've known other barrier sets from the 1990s holding up better than this, but then again, this level crossing is in quite a busy area on quite a busy line. I personally really quite like that fast alarm there, as well as those unique signs, though I don't remember hearing Regent Street Level Crossing from this one when I went - interesting that you can! Great filming! 👍😁

Thanks 😁 Won't be long before the barrier arm just falls off lol. I distinctly remember hearing Regent Street activating. I don't think you can hear it when there's lots of traffic passing but when it's quiet you can hear it quite clearly.

Quick story me and my dad were going to Ipswich to watch football and when we came home we had to get a greater anglia train to Peterborough and someone had been run over at

It is in case there is a queue of traffic over the crossing, and it instructs you should not stop on or block the crossing, therefore keeping it clear
