Australia seems to be the land where evolution said “What would happen if “ and then proceeded to find out. And apparently anything that was too lethal or crazy got pushed into the ocean.
When the state zoo near me had a special exhibit of Australian animals, I accompanied a second grade class of kids on their field trip. As I was telling the kids about the kookaburra bird, I did the best impersonation I could of the sound it makes. The kookaburra responded and the kids went crazy! All of them were trying to get the bird to respond to them. There were 30 kids doing their best kookaburra impersonations and I was dying laughing. The bird did not respond to them and I moved the kids on after I composed myself. As we were walking away, the kids asked me to make the sound one more time, which I did and the bird responded. I feel like I must have been accepted as family by that kookaburra...LOL
For months I had a Kookaburra alarm clock. Two Kookaburras in trees to my right, two more on power lines to my left taking turns 'laughing' back and forth at each other early in the morning. I miss that, best alarm clock ever.
All this guys videos are ... perfect. his research is stellar and his writing style is like sniper fire lol. It grabs ALL your attention when you hear it.
Bro, you reacting to his content is one of the best combos I didn't know I needed lmao 😂 Also, Australia is literally the definition of God after he hits a blunt and asks You know what would be cool?
yes Bradley Moore... I knew that and I am pretty sure MrLboyd knows that too. It was the humor he was putting into his reaction I was laughing at. I love him & his commentaries. By the way... fish also pee in the lakes... where a lot of people get their water and if you look close enough... you'll find they even pee in their own fish tanks!
"Is that why the water is so salty?" Maybe one of the best straight faced jokes I have heard you drop. Damn well played, sir. Lolol the shock at the pure amount of semen out there. Your look into the distance, I feel it. I think back to any of my trips to a coast....
Casual Geographic is the greatest critter content on all of RUclips and really want to get his book for our family! Hubby and I enjoyed getting to be with you for this viewing of his take on the ocean. I'll recommend The Wolf Who Would be King😊 I don't believe I'll give anything away when I say my favorite part of the recommended video is a secondary story that's near to my heart. Enjoy! 😊
" whale baby batter " 😂. That had me subbing you. Great reactions. 👍 Also recently subbed to Casual Geographic. Anyone who makes me laugh is a hit with me.! 😍🤩
We used to feed the Kookaburras. Several generations of them would perch on the clothes line around dinner time and do the laugh thing until we came out and fed them, mainly boiled sausage mince. I kind of miss those days. Oh yeah if you have chickens, dont let Kookaburras near the chicks, they will grab them and that will be the last you ever see of Chicken Little...
Your erudition in so many areas, contrasted with the unedited, instinctual, and universal reactions, puts you in the Zenith tier of Reactors. Edit: Dolphins? Yeah, we should just accept them dunkin on us. So Long And Thanks For All The Fish.
I am in Australia; Kookaburras are more terrifying when they laugh at night! Scares the 💩 right out of you! Otherwise they're really a placid bird... Unlike the Magpie..
Another really creepy one is his most recent Halloween episode "Times Animals Became Serial Killers". I highly recommend it. His "How to Survive an Animal Attack" and his two "wholesome animal" videos are also really good and nice changes of pace.
It's rare I find a video title that perfectly sums up my feelings on something, but you've done it. Keep up the good work my man; you have a great perspective.
Ndiaye is great. I love his videos. They are scripted, yes, but he writes them. Pretty much all of his videos are great, but his early youtube videos are just compilations of his tiktoks. He has since started making videos specifically formatted for youtube. He also has a book out. If you like reading, animals, and his delivery, you should check it out. It's called "100 Animals That Can F*cking End You".
@@adrienne80s Yeah, it's somewhat problematic. Dolphins have been romanticized in media for decades, making people think that they're oceanbound labradoodles with human traits. They do seem like smart animals but sadly, they're also sadistic r*pe whales.
A Skunk got stuck in a heavy duty rat trap... I didn't get sprayed 2 feet from it lifting up the clasp so it could run off. Animals do know when something is trying to help them... and that skunk didn't go after rat traps anymore, he went for the stray cat food instead ever since.
12:25 I just turned my head and looked at the Rat Blaster 9000 I have for the ones too big for traps... That bird wouldn't be dolphaning and keeping me up long.
I have spent much time near, in, and on the ocean. I find it chilly on my old bones these days, so I seldom enter the water. I still love the beach and being on the water. Monsters are lurking in the depths, and a whale's exhalation is one of the foulest things you will ever smell! Particularly if the whale is spy-hopping and looking you in the eye as it does.
Brother I've never lived more than twenty minutes drive from the pacific ocean and i DON'T GO IN THE OCEAN EVER ( on purpose) but about 25 years ago my so called friend pushed me off a wharf as orca whales were swimming past I've never gone fishing with him again he said that if I'd come out any faster I'd have still been dry
I was in Australia for 2 weeks on my honey moon 6 years ago and I saw some interesting animals, Everyone need to experience Australia at least one it just that awesome.
I live in Southern California by the beach I go onto the ocean all the time. Most whales don’t come close to the shore. I have seen a couple of dead, baby gray whales wash up on shore.😢 it’s sad, but it happens.
"do you imagine live in Australia and deal with thing in front of your window?".... Yes, every fu* *ing morning at 5.30am weaking up because a stupid bird is laughing outside no stop

Very beginning 0:43 "No, we find them......leave 'em." Me: Remember though, if we can find it. It can find us. Might not be the smartest idea to learn nothing about it lol
Dolphins are very strange with humans. They are absolute psychopaths with 99% of the things that they encounter, including other dolphins, but they actually like humans and have virtually no record of attacking humans out of captivity. They also have been known to surround shipwrecks with human survivors and kill any sharks that try to go after them. It's either that there is some sort of evolutionary artifact that makes them like humans (like elephants being afraid of mice), or they are smart enough to realize that humans are the most dangerous animals they are ever going to meet, and so they want to be friendly.
Fun fact, Peter Benchley nearly got murdered by a male dolphin. While wild dolphins are definitely crazy for sure, the captive bred and reared dolphins most people are exposed are way worse. Captivity encourages sociopathic like traits in some cetaceans, particularly in Killer Whales. Case in point, there is no case of a wild orca attacking a person. Captive Orcas though... Just look up Tilikum. As for the saltiness of seawater... Well, outside of sharks, and marine mammals, most marine practices broadcast spawning. Meaning they just spray their eggs and sperm into the water and hope for the best. And this will gross you out, but gametes are great source of nutrition for all the filter feeders of the ocean. Lot of protein.
