I'm so happy that you reviewed these and did the comparisons. I'm grateful that your friend passed it on to you. I am going to get Flicker at some point. It does really remind me of candlelight. II love Frankie, but I have little, short nails and the ROI on magnetics just doesn't make sense. 💅 Hopefully ILNP gets you back on the list soon!

Hoping ILNP gets you back on their PR list. 🤞🤞🤞 I am loving the vibe of this collection, though they all feel like polishes we've seen before. Which isn't necessarily bad, but my collection has grown to a point where curating additions is key. I like how you compared polishes directly on your nails. That's excellent! I love the ILNP orange polishes - I think they are different enough enough to merit buying them. But I am an orange polish fanatic. Great review.

I hope to see ILNP reviews from you in the future, too. Out of the four boutique brands they’re the most affordable, and they don’t do perceived scarcity fomo marketing. They’re also widely accessible and their formulas are pretty consistent and close to indie brands in terms of special effects. I’m not as excited by their releases as I used to be but that’s not a slight against them-they and I both have a pretty big catalogue so it’s rare to see something completely new. Still, it’s a good brand with which to start your collection or to branch out from drugstore brands (nothing against them either, I love my Essie creams).
I appreciate the comparisons, as usual, it’s very helpful to see a familiar polish next to a new one in the same lighting and set-up. It’s hard to compare based on promo photos alone.
really hope I can get back on their PR list sooner than later too! i couldn’t agree more about all your points, they really are one of the best brands out there when it comes to finish, price, availability etc. that totally makes sense to lost excitement over time, I find its really only easy if you stick to one brand bc then everything they do feels new, but thats so boring to me 🤣 i think they’ve had a great year so far though and can’t wait to see what else they do! and omg yes after essie reformulated and switched to wide brushes they have been amaaazing!!

I am so happy you were gifted this collection! That is SO incredibly sweet! 🥰👏🏻 I absolutely love carved! It is such a perfect pumpkin orange. 🎃 I did not pick up pumpkin patch before. But I feel like carved is more vibrant. I also picked up abracadabra and frankie. It is my first time using an ILNP magnetic and I got such a good result with it! I’m kind of obsessed! 💚✨ Now I want to go back and pick up more of their magnetics! After seeing your swatches I def am reconsidering picking up bitten and shapeshifter! As always your swatches and comparisons are stellar! 💖
truly so so grateful to have amazing friends!! 💗 yeah I can definitely understand loving Carved if you didn’t have Pumpkin Patch or Trick or Treat i think its called, from the year before. it definitely is a vibrant almost reddish orange perfect for the season!! i LOVED your Frankie mani and am so excited you’re now a fan of ILNP magnetics hehe the only one I didn’t like was Sandbar from summer but maybe that was more personal preference over it being a “good” magnetic 😜 but ooo lmk if you’ll get those in hour BF order!!

@@PolishedYogi I got Scorched Sorceress, Grimoire Glitz, and Radiant Realm. I wanted the Dragon shade but I have both the shades you compared with it and I can't justify getting it.
I will end up picking this one up at some point. But I've spent too much on nail polish this year. And I'm out of space. I have to purge. It's hard to purge. I need them all. I'm a nail polish addict and proud of it. I should get that on a t-shirt.

I will say I love this collection. I have done a skittles of ILNP orange fall nail polishes and it really shows the variations. ILNP is my favorite. I love the other polishes you mentioned as well. I have many of them. ILNP just never let's me down on formula or color options. They were my first holo nail polish and it was love at first sight.
omg i knowww, i’m desperately wanting to downsize my collection but i feel like i need to keep them for comparisons, i got my fourth helmer last week and i am now also out of space!! 😫🙈
but yess i truly felt so special for receiving it as an early bday gift hehe 🥹🫶🏼
yes there definitely is a variance in the oranges, more so irl than on camera i think (or at least more than my iphone lol) they definitely do them well! 🎃 i love that ILNP is your favorite, they really are so hard to beat!!
@PolishedYogi my nail polish stand holds 400. And it's full. Plus I have a couple of polish totes that are full. It's so hard to let them go. And I can't break up collections!! That's just wrong!!! I try to stick to 4 or 5 brands. I can't afford to add any others. I do so enjoy my nail polish. It makes me happy.
So glad you got your hands on this!! i love Frankie and Flicker. Carved seems very similar after looking at the comparisons - on first glance i figured it was more glowy/halloweeny than their oranges in the past. So thank you for dispelling that notion 🧙♀️🔮
me tooo!! got super lucky that this lined up to be a great early bday present hehe. and yeah Carved is a biiit more vibrant either bc of the reddish leaning base or the extra gold flakies, but its barely noticeable i think haha. i think layering Pumpkin Patch over a warm orange creme might give a similar feel! either way so glad you found the comparisons helpful :) 🎃🧡

I'm also amused by the oranges haha. They can't have no pumpkin-orange for Halloween, but also there's only so many things anyone can do with a specific shade of colour lol. we shall see what happens next Halloween haha
of course!! :) and ahh i know, maybe in sunlight you would still be able to see that deep indigo base! 🤤 but excited for you to get that one in, its so mesmerizing 🤩

Gorgeous swatches and great comparisons Stefanie. I of course am also in Camp Stefanie and very much hope you will receive the winter collections to test and review for us. I appreciate your compact and cohesive reviews much more than just a quick run of application and the exclamation „I love all of them I cannot choose a favorite. ILNP is the only Boutique brand I am attracted to and buy from. I was excited to see the comparison between Carved and Pumpkin Patch as the latter looks flat next to my skintone. Carved will be PERFECT and yes the collection is on its way to me, currently seems stuck in LA though

All these polishes are so pretty! And why is everyone doing the intense blue shimmer on every polish? lol I feel like it's in at least one polish in all the releases lately. Franken is probably my favorite polish of this collection but I feel like it's similar enough to Wicked Potion by Holo Taco that I'm passing. But it's gorgeous. As always, love the comparisons!
i know right!! that blue shimmer is having a moment, kind of like reflective glitter was having last year 😅 and ahh I should’ve shared Wicked Potion but honestly felt that was just more similar to Venom lol but glad you like Frankie too, def a cute shade especially with the name! 🥹💚

I only have a couple magnetic polishes but Frankie is amazing with or without the magnetic effect. Bitten certainly looks like flakies instead of shimmers. The collection is nice but I'm in no hurry to buy any except perhaps I would get Frankie, who would look so cool with a Frankenstein mani. I hope ILNP gets back to sending you PR. It's always appreciated and you do a wonderful job when you swatch and compare their polishes. TFS! ❤

Carved is the weak link for me, too. Frankie and Flicker are so pretty but I’ve yet to wear any of my magnetics and I tend to mostly go for color not neutrals. Athough funnily enough I love to wear ILNP Tombstone-it’s just so delicate and flattering. Bitten and Shapeshifter are the kind of polishes I love so I will get those and you are the first one to show me Abracadabra in a way that convinced me that I really want to get that one too. I'm the same way!!!! I LOVE my greens.... But I almost never wear my magnetic polishes. I can't ever get that sharp line to stay. They just end up looking so messy. 😓
@@MissReneeMichelle Hello-nice to meet another green lover! With magnetics I have considered doing the velvet effect or getting a ring magnet to do more swirly patterns, but haven’t yet. Time just hasn’t been on my side lately.😊

omg, midnight rider was on my mooncat list for the semi-annual sale, so I guess I'll save myself five dollars and go abracadabra. they're really close. Thanks for the comparison swatches! Every time I see Spirit Fingers, I can't help but wonder how it compares with polar princess on top of duct tape grey. that has been one of my favorite combos for years and i'm curious since Spirit Fingers sold out so fast but the combo might be close.
so glad you found the comparisons helpful, omg yess the difference is barely noticeable so i would def say go for ILNP! ✨ and okay actually went back to find the spot in the video but Cristine actually showed comparisons of Duct Tape Grey with Polar Princess (and others) to Spirit Fingers on a swatch wheel! on youtube search for Simply Not Logical’s channel, then find her video from 4weeks ago called “Safiya x Holo Taco Experiments 🧪💅🏼🔴 LIVE” then skip to 01:40:30 and she’ll talk about the comparisons ☺️

You do such a great job with comparisons it would be their loss. They do need to diversify their swatchers.
I think Shapeshifter is similar to Starrily’s Into the Woods, which is pricier and maybe not quite as complex.
i appreciate that so much, thank you! 💗 but omg wow, i’m not too familiar with Starrily polishes so i had to look up a swatch of that and you’re so right lol! it seems like Into The Woods even has some red shimmer too? it looks gorgeous, a shame its sold out but at least Shapeshifter can fill that void! 🤎✨

The oranges have disappointed me. I was really hoping for an orange magnetic with a black jelly base called Pumpkin King. To go along with Poison and Venom. The others were alright. I think shape-shifting and Flicker ill be added to my list. I'm curious to see what frankie looks like next to Cirque Mood ring

I think your swatches and comparisons are wonderful! I do think ILNP needs to diversify their swatching team. There are not enough darker skin tones that I see get PR, unfortunately 😕
thank you so much! 💕 yeah i definitely agree, a lot of swatchers (for a lot of brands too) tend to be white or have a lighter skin tone. I would love to see Nicole from Nicole Loves Nails get ILNP pr, her swatches are amazing and its great she posts on both YT and IG! I have a couple friends with brown skin who receive ILNP pr but don’t always share swatches of every shade and are only on IG, so it def can be hard to find 😅
I ordered Bitten and nothing else. I was debating Carved but I have Pumpkin Patch and Zoya’s Amy which looks really close.
