As always, you do the BEST review of Lisa Eldridge products. I have taken your advice after each review and I've never been disappointed! Thank you for loving Lisa Eldridge as much as I do!!! 💋💖
Hi Rhonda, I hope you’re well 🙋🏻♀️ Thanks so much for your kind and encouraging comment. It felt like a big hug! 🥰 I hope you’re having a great weekend so far ♥️♥️♥️
😘excellent video! I'm a fan of Lisa and I like the way she manages her products and launches. She doesn't make a deluge of products at the same time. She is thrifty, starts with some good products, we buy, try and use. This gives us time to enjoy the products we buy and leave us wanting and looking forward to new products! And yes, the customer service is one of the best I've ever had to come in contact with, fast, professional and attentive!
Thank you for such a through review. I have watch others review the liquid silk and have to laugh every time because they practically paint the shadow on then when the go to blind it's so dark. Just like you said 2 dots is enough. You can always add more.
Hey! 👋 Maybe it’s because they rushed to do the review and didn’t have time to try it out beforehand 😅 It’s super pigmented so a little does truly go a long way! Thanks so much for watching! ♥️♥️♥️
Thank you for the review I’ve been waiting for this. You always give honest opinions and we’re similar tones. I’m so intrigued by the liquid silk. Still not sure which colour to get!! TBH I think the eye palettes are overpriced as beautiful as they are. I wish she take out one of the browns and swap a more skin tone shade. The whole palette still seems a little too dark for me. It seems more of a companion palette to the liquid silk. What a great giveaway, very generous of you.
Thanks for your generous comment! 🙏 I know what you mean about the price of the palettes. With the palette, the price of the singles works out to £8.17 (maybe less if you consider the cost of the palette itself), but the refills are £11, which I didn’t know until now. Hopefully, more people can give feedback about this, and maybe she’ll consider it for future launches. Thanks so much for watching! ♥️♥️♥️
For me, I rarely buy all-matte palettes and having the 2 shimmers makes it a lot more versatile for me. Speaking of mattes though, all the shades of liquid silk look gorgeous and that’s the more exciting launch to me. Thanks for making such a thorough review - as per usual!
Hi Fiona, I understand what you mean, and I usually feel the same way. But because we’ve seen similar palettes before and because she described it as a sculpting palette, I think I would have preferred just sculpting shades. Still, like I said in the video, the palettes are customisable, so I can always make my own. Thanks so much for watching 😘♥️♥️♥️
I got Fawn at release, and I love it! I now have Vega for cool tone nudes, Cinnabar for warm tone nudes, and now Fawn for more neutral nudes. I’ve got it all covered and I couldn’t be happier! I might swap mine around and do all mattes in one palette and shimmers in the others, but I might just leave them be. But it’s wonderful to have the option! I held off on the matte liquid shadows until I saw reviews, and I love them! I will definitely get a few with my next Lisa order! You are always so sweet to do give aways!!! I won’t enter this time because I have the Fawn palette already, but I love that you do these regularly! It’s so kind! ☺️
Hi Lisa, I hope you’re well 😘 I love the idea and option of being able to swap and customise our own palettes. Let’s hope she brings out more single shades soon. I have to say, the liquid silks have been a great everyday eyeshadow but also a fab eyeshadow primer. Thanks so much for watching! ♥️♥️♥️
I always appreciate your swatches and feedback on LE products. I have extremely oily eye lids and I'm happy to hear the new liquid eyeshadows are very long lasting. I'm sooo looking forward to when the eyeshadow palettes will be fully customizable, to I can pick the shades I want in one palette. You are always so generous with your giveaways! 💖
Hey 🙋🏻♀️ I agree about the customisable palettes! I also wish she brings out a slightly bigger palette option, so we can have the choice of more than 6 shades. But then again, could get very expensive 😂 Thanks for watching ♥️♥️♥️
Finally, a thorough review I can appreciate! Thank you so much for covering pretty much all things that I had my doubts on. Originally I wasn’t going to pick up the Fawn palette because like you said, it looks like we can find similar shades. But then you went into the practicality of switching shades within different palettes. It helps a lot, that the shade names are printed on the back now. Also thank you for discussing different ways of applying the liquid shadows. Have a wonderful day!!
I ❤ fawn palette...its my essentials and I like that its not just matte shadows, I like some sparkle....and the silky shadows....trully impressive on their smoothness and longevit6, I just hope some more lighter /brightening shades will come next
Hello! 🙋🏻♀️ I agree on the smoothness! For some reason (maybe my imagination), it feels smoother than previous palettes! I’d be really interested to see the other two colour stories 😍 Thanks for watching ♥️♥️♥️
Thank you for the review! I hope one day she releases an empty palette that we can customize but since the pans are magnetic I might consider just getting any empty magnetic palette being sold.
Hey, you can absolutely do that! For the older palette, they don’t have names on the back, so you can create your own label in case you want to replace any shades in the future 😀 Thanks for watching ♥️♥️♥️
I've been looking forward to hearing your thoughts! Your eye and arm swatches are so great, and I love the eye look you created here. It looks great on you. I tried them out at Liberty's last week, and I'm so glad I was able to, as it helped me save my pennies. I think the liquid silk formula is great and does what Lisa said it would, but none of the colours are for me. Of the lighter shades, two are too peach and yellow, and Ione, which I'd hoped would be more of a grey/brown taupe, was just too purpley-brown and bruisey looking on me. I really hope she brings these out in more colours in the not-too-distant future. I was so excited about the Fawn palette when Lisa introduced it, as I thought it would be the answer to my prayers. The Cinnabar palette was too warm for my liking, and Vega too cool, so I thought this would be the Goldilocks palette. As a minimalist make up buyer, I like the concept of 3 or 4 natural/sculpting shadows and two fun ones to cover all make up occasions, but sadly the actual shades miss the mark for me. It's not that it's not nice, it's just not my dream 'the only palette I need' that I'd hoped for. I still really want Lisa to make a build your own palette option available, so I can make my perfect combination without buying a palette that includes colours I likely won't use.
Hey Chloe, I hope you’re well 🙋🏻♀️ I agree and think many people are waiting for customisable palettes! Hopefully, she will bring out more single shades soon. Hope you’re having a great weekend so far ♥️♥️♥️
Thanks for your honest review. Like you you said, we have no access to a counter here in the US. I would probably get a couple of the liquid silk. Your comment on the intensity of her powder eyeshadow is really helpful to me in deciding on the fawn palette.
Great review Deborah! I dragged my feet because frankly, I’ve been too distracted by the awful world events and haven’t been feeling makeup. I do want to get the palette and Ione eventually. You look lovely as always ❤
@@theeditbydhI will report back 😊 Now I’ve seen your whole review and thank you so much. It’s very useful. It’s a great giveaway. You are very generous.
@@theeditbydh Hi again 😃 I now have used the Ione for a couple of days. It’s a really great formula and works very well for my sensitive dry eyelids. The color is too dark for my liking (I’m quite pale), but I’ll experiment with lighter shadows on top. Upper West Side is the most perfect shade for my crease and actually also as a soft velvety one and done. It’s so beautiful and smoothing.
@@Majspiir So glad you like it! I’m sure you do this already but I’d recommend using the tiniest amount and using an eyeshadow brush to blend out. Using this method means it’s really just a wash of colour. I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend! ♥️♥️♥️
Thank you for the detailed review and giveaway! I'm sorry that Ione has sold out already, it was the most interesting to me. Fawn seems like a nice everyday palette
Hello! I’ve noticed and am surprised about Ione selling out. Phoebe and Irene are more similar to natural skin tone shades and, therefore, more wearable. I thought more people would be drawn to it as a base colour or even an eyeshadow primer. Thanks for watching ♥️♥️♥️
I just realized I wasn’t subscribed to you! And I’ve been wondering where your reviews were in my feed - duh! Well, fixed that - and thank you for the review - you’re a fav for me and so helpful 😊
Do you think the darker shades would work well as a liner? I wonder how these compare to the Violette_Fr yeux paints. I like to use the yeux paints and Lisa's liquid lurex as liners but these new matte ones seem very thin on video. I would be curious to hear you're thoughts! Always love your Lisa videos 🫶
Hello! I definitely think the darker shades would work well as a liner! I haven’t tried it out yet but plan to with Thalia. If I do, I’ll make sure I share a story on IG. I also save my LE stories in a dedicated highlights section in case you miss it. I’ll also try to compare with the Violette FR ones at some point. Thanks for watching ♥️♥️♥️
Very nice review. I get what you’re saying about wanting a strictly sculpting palette. I was actually looking at the refills with that in mind yesterday and don’t think there are other shades that could be subbed for White Tie and Debutante, do you? I’d like to see some lighter matte neutrals and she has none that I see.
Nice review! I'm a big fan of Lisa, but slowly want to transition to other brands cuz the duties is quite expensive🥲 Lisa's products deliver, I love her Lipsticks and foundation. I haven't tries any of her eyeshadow palette yet, but I'm sure they perform well! I feel Lisa's line has classy vibe, she wouldn't design a product which is solely for practicality, or functionality, her eyeliner pencil is great examples. It's pretty, good color, but the staying power is not the best, but the aesthetic is so good! If I want a very functional palette I probably wouldn't go for Lisa, her products are more luxurious.
Hey Emily, I totally understand about the duties. I took it for granted when living in the UK, but now that I’m in Singapore, every time I receive a DHL notification, I’m like 🥲 It’s interesting what you said about functionality. I totally agree with the classy vibe and aesthetic, but then again, she’s a working makeup artist, and now she’s launched a PRO program, functionality should very much tie into the brand. One can wish 😁 Thanks so much for watching! ♥️♥️♥️
Thanks for reviewing, I think the palette surprisingly came out very nice on a light skin tone even tho it has some pretty smokey colors. I would love to enter the giveaway!
I bought only the sorcery palette and i think the next one i will buy is a customizable one. I was interested in the liquid eyeshadow but I honestly didn't want to shell that much money on it. Maybe in a later time, when I have some kind of discount.I am waiting for her to release new lipgloss colors the most . Thanks for your review
Hey 🙋🏻♀️ I think many people are on the same page as you with the customisable option. I understand in terms of the price of the liquid silks. The only thing I’d say is that a little goes a long way, and it’s great as a shadow and eyeshadow primer. I’ve been using them almost daily since the launch and barely made a dent. By the time it gets to the point where I’m running out, I don’t think I’d want it to last any longer because, either way, liquids don’t keep as well as powders. I'm just sharing my thoughts in case it helps ☺️ I’m curious about new lipgloss shades, too 😘 Thanks for watching ♥️♥️♥️
thank you for this! Lisa Eldridge's swatches are particularly difficult for me. She has no models with very fair neutral skin - lots of fair with cool undertones. Super frustrating. The Gaia looks AMAZING with your green eyes, btw.
Hi Beth, I hear you! I find her team to be very responsive and accommodating. Perhaps you can provide feedback on this or even request a swatch on someone with a skin tone similar to you. Thanks so much, and I hope you’re having a fab weekend so far ♥️♥️♥️
New subscriber here! I didn’t get the palette as I was afraid it would be too warm, but seeing a bunch of reviews they really seem neutral. I’m not to keen on the duochrome, the white shadow I think has it’s place. I got the Ione liquid silk from the same reason (I’m utterly pale and cool toned). Now I am gonna go browse your other LE content!
Hi Maria, thanks so much for subscribing! I always love to ‘meet’ new people in the community! 🥰 I wasn’t too keen on the duochrome, but I’ve been reaching for it a lot more than I initially thought. Thanks so much for watching ♥️♥️♥️
Thanks so much! Happy birthday for Sunday! My giveaway will go live soon and I normally announce the winner one month later. Please keep an eye out for my IG post. Good luck! ♥️♥️♥️
Love your LE in depthcontent, what's your thoughs about the new fawn pallete? Eg.color story,payoff,longevity...Is't worth buying if already owning Vega? And did you experience any fallout from any color ?I had terrible experience by the seemless matte formula blackout from Vega each time.
Hey Yoceline 🙋🏻♀️ In terms of the colour story, I gave some opinions in my video, but in terms of payoff and longevity, I feel that it’s better with the liquid silk as a base. I live in a hot and humid country, so the eyeshadow tends to last longer if I use some sort of primer base. I haven’t noticed any fallout. I managed to use the deepest shade for eyeliner, which lasted all day. Again, that was with a primer underneath. I hope that helps! Thanks for watching ♥️♥️♥️
Have you tried liquid silk as eyeshadow primer? If so, does it keep the eyeshadow intact all day? Im currently looking for new eyeshadow primer, and torn between LE liquid silk or ND eyeshadow base primer 🙈
Yes, and yes! 😉 I’ve been reaching for the liquid silks daily, either as an everyday base colour or primer for the powder shadows, and I find it helps with longevity. I haven’t tried the ND one, so I can’t comment or compare the two, but I love the liquid silk formula. Thanks so much for watching! ♥️♥️♥️
fawn is so beautiful but I have myth and Vega and im not sure I need it. however it is my favorite of the 3 and if I had had the opportunity to get is at the original launch, it's the one I would have bought. im sure I will get it eventually. im also terribly sad that Ione is sold out because im never really sure when she will restock. im still mourning the blush collection.
Hey Lisa, I understand what you mean! As brands add to their colour story, it’s always one of the “risks” customers run by purchasing something early on and then seeing a colour story they much prefer later down the line. If there are any specific colours you’re drawn to in the Fawn palette, maybe you could purchase them individually and then swap out some you’re unsure of in the other palettes you have. Thanks so much for watching! ♥️♥️♥️
I was also quite underwhelmed by the colour story. I don't want pink eyeshadow and White Tie is too silver for me and not champagne enough. Also I don't use eye shadow as a liner, I prefer to use an actual eye liner. So three of the shades felt redundant. A safe pass for me this time, I will stick with my Cinnabar and Vega pallettes.
I think it’s a very safe colour story and therefore appealing to many but for those who’ve seen it all, it’s perhaps a little predictable. I’m hopeful for the upcoming two colour stories! Thanks so much for watching 😘♥️♥️♥️
Those liquid ones like primer I need to try. Great review as usual. And thank you for your kind heart . You always do giveaways 🙏 Have a blessed day🙏❤️
the palette is too dark for everyday, why 2 dark brown shades?there is no force in universe that would make me to buy LE, her promo launches becoming comical and products are average at most. Claims on the other hand are unbelievable I don't know what happened to her, as for the palette specifically if you have vega and cinnabar why would you bother ? oh 8 know wait there are no refills for these palettes., i wasn'table to refill them since launch so forget that refillable part about palettes its nonsense marketing on comany's part....Customer service unless the product broke or you are youtuber is rubish. thank you for the review I enjoy your detailed reviews
I’m sorry that you have such a negative view of Lisa’s products. I have nothing but the best experiences with everything that I’ve bought from Lisa. I consider everything I’ve used as the best that I have tried, and I have tried a LOT! Mostly mid and high priced. I am 75 now and her products are wonderful on my face. I hope your future experiences are better
Hello! I’m sorry to hear that you don’t get along with her products and have had negative customer service experiences. Luckily, the makeup industry is oversaturated with brands, so you have plenty of alternatives. Thanks so much for watching ♥️♥️♥️

Such a lovely color story - you look so pretty! My birthday is this Sunday and would love to win your giveaway.
@@theeditbydh do you have oily eyelids?
@harrrambae I don’t have oily eyelids per se, but the area around my eyes tends to get smudged if I don’t wear long-wearing or waterproof eye makeup.
Lovely foundation! What shade are you using?
Hello! I’m wearing Lisa’s T3 in the Seamless Tint and La Mer’s Ecru in the soft powder foundation. All links are below! 😘 Thanks for watching ♥️♥️♥️
fawn is so beautiful but I have myth and Vega and im not sure I need it. however it is my favorite of the 3 and if I had had the opportunity to get is at the original launch, it's the one I would have bought. im sure I will get it eventually. im also terribly sad that Ione is sold out because im never really sure when she will restock. im still mourning the blush collection.
You always do giveaways 🙏 Have a blessed day🙏❤️
@@theeditbydh yes I'm intrigued for the next pallettes 😊
I replaced the white silver with the “french grey” single and got a perfect neutral everyday palette!
Thanks so much for your kind comment and for watching😘♥️♥️♥️
the palette is too dark for everyday, why 2 dark brown shades?there is no force in universe that would make me to buy LE, her promo launches becoming comical and products are average at most.
