      Nice summary. When I was seven (1969) we flew on AC dc-8’s, -9’s, and vickers vanguards. Therein lies my nostalgia for air travel.

    AC operated around 13 A340-300s, not 2. They also flew to all of those destinations you mentioned well before 1987.

    • @DeltaBravoTango
      @DeltaBravoTango  3 года назад

      Thanks for the efforts in trying to correct me. However, according to the official Air Canada site they operated 2 A340-300 aircraft. Also, if you listen I said BY 1987 and then said all the destinations. A good understanding of grammar means that INCLUDES years prior. Thanks mate

    • @NovaScotiaKevin
      @NovaScotiaKevin 3 года назад +1

      @@DeltaBravoTango I have the fleet list of the 343s and there were 13 of them. Browse on a.net and youll see photos of all 13. Look on the Transport Canada website and there were 13 registered 343s for AC. The syntax of that sentence is strange, leading the listener to believe those routes were added in 1987.

    • @DeltaBravoTango
      @DeltaBravoTango  3 года назад +1

      @@NovaScotiaKevin ok please go take your complaint to Air Canada they should probably change their site info. As for the sentence please replay it and tell me how you would say it to make it better :) thanks

    • @DeltaBravoTango
      @DeltaBravoTango  3 года назад +1

      @@NovaScotiaKevin also, fyi, I said ''BY 1987, .........'' that is clearly a suitable way of saying things that include 1987 and years prior. That is correct grammar

    Air Canada never took delivery of the A340-500 they were sold to US Airways I believe

      @DeltaBravoTango  3 года назад

      Thx for the comment, according to Air Canada they indeed operated the A340-500 from 04-07 in addition to their fleet of 2 A340-300 aircraft. I do not know if they sold to USAirways and I guess good thing I did not mention it haha cheers mate

    • @NovaScotiaKevin
      @NovaScotiaKevin 3 года назад

      No, they did. US Airways never ordered the 340.
