To make a nitpicky correction, the vast majority of MM2 was composed by Takashi Tateishi, with Matsumae being credited only for the reuse of MM1's ending and a few measures she contributed to Air Man.

I always thought the MM10 ost was pretty good. There were a few standouts though; the original of this of course, Strike Man, and of course Abandoned Memory, which stands as my favorite Mega Man castle track ever (yes, even more than 2's Wily Stage 1)
Megaman 9 & 10 ost are underrated as hell, and I consider both top tier alongside MM3 & MM2. MM4-MM7 are underrated too, imo. So are the Gameboy games, specially MMV. (MM8 is the most forgettable ost for me, but that doesn't mean is bad, it's just not at the same league at the ones mentioned above.) And I've got to say 11 is actually pretty damn good too. However, it is true that MM11 soundtrack is far more memorable in 8 bit. Give them all a chance.
One of my favourite stage themes is Bubble Man. It’s so catchy and is the most underrated MM2 track, and I also really like Gemini Man's theme, because of how intense it is!
Top tier theme in the franchise. Man, this OST is underrated. Solar Man and Sheep Man have crazy good songs too, I'd love to see them covered someday! Aeon's Devil Gundam from MS Saga is higher on my wishlist tho 👀

I love the switching between guitar and synth from 0:32 to 0:46 (which admittedly, is how it is supposed to be, but sometime people miss that detail). ...Oh yeah, that solo was awesome too. Mega Man titles shouldn't have to be ball-crushingly hard to be enjoyable. Let some people play at their own pace. And there were the standard comparison complaints that the stage designs weren't as good as 9's and that the music sounded lukewarm next to 9's soundtrack. You know, the kinds of things people feel the need to nitpick about constantly. I personally don't share their opinions and it's amazing that it took only one year for people to form a "9 is better, 10 sucks" camp back then.
