I live in Hyde Park and have gone to rallies at the encampment at UChicago, although as a non-student I have not slept there. I have never seen a more peaceful crowd. I never heard one word of hate speech, and speakers at the rallies reminded the crowd to refrain from hate speech. It sometimes felt more like a love in than a protest. Zionists who occasionally invaded the space were blocked from filming in order to prevent doxxing, but it nas done without hostility.
Who exactly determines what hate speech is?
