Thank you very much
Thanks a lot that was very helpful
Glad it helped
I throw caution to claiming home office expenses!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you read the tax guide your primary business has to be out of an office not on the road driving people around.
Hi, I got a question. Can I use TT Deluxe to file 1099-NEC?
Hi! Great video! How can I add lyft and uber on Turbotax if I worked for both?
Hi! I do have some late questions if you can answer! I do UberEats (and some other apps) and my NEC shows “total additional earnings” as non-employee compensation at $952.17. But I made a net of $6114. Do I omit their figures and input my actual profit in the field?
i need some advise please. we got CP200 from IRS for 2021 Uber income and now they are asking me to fill in Schedule C. How can I do that in Turbotax? stepping back to 2021. Thank you
I started uber 2019/20 part time I stopped in 2021, how ever I started again in 2022 with a different vehicle, the program ask me when did you acquired the business.. what would be the answer? 2019 with the other vehicle
Question: How much of my car insurance payment & phone can I deduct? I drive for both Uber & Lyft?
I drove for Uber Eats. All I have in tax docs is the tax summary. No official 1099 form. Can I request a 1099. The tax summary is a little vague.
Thank you
You're welcome
You are showing in your computer… I don’t have computer so how can I do it in Turbo Tax app and Everlance app in iPhone?
free version do not let you deduct any expenses be prepared to pay $198 if you want do taxes with Turbo Tax
Fr wth why is it so expensive to get my fucking taxes done
This was great help. I realized that I did my rideshare information wrong for 2022 and did not add the fees can I go back and change that because I believe I should have received money back.
Yes you can, you will need to "amend" 2022 tax return
Incorrect dude Ubers mileage is all online miles not just pax
What do we do if you didn’t make the threshold and so they don’t give you your tax forms? But you did make enough that you have to file how do we fill you the taxes?
This!! I’m so confused what I file it under 1099 NEC, MISC, etc.
File as a independent contractor aka BUSINESS
@@chelseanoelle4463if you didn't receive the form you cannot enter 1099
I ended up doing other income under self employment 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
what's the process if you only got a tax summary and no 1099K and etc from uber because you didn't pass their threshold to send one?
You find the answer to this? Im in the same boat
@@lobasboyfriend8073 Even if you don't receive a 1099, you're still required to report all of your Uber income to the IRS. Since your Uber ridesharing is a business, you will typically use Schedule C, Profit or Loss from Business to deduct your business-related expenses and report your profits for the tax year.
is this for quarterly taxes?
The link isnt working for the template Profit and Loss. Would you be able to give me a link to it?
We have updated the link! Hope this helps!
INCORRECT
Online miles include, according to Uber "The mileage reported on your Tax Summary is the total online miles including all the miles you drove waiting for a trip, en-route to a rider, and on a trip."
You are right! This is an older video, this was not the case when i made the video.
This video is helpful but I still have some issue, I bought a Car to start Lyft Driving, During inspection of Lyft the mechanic required me to change 4 tires and brakes, I did but my question is: in witch place to put these expenses?
Hey! I went over your comment in my most recent livestream! Hope this helps! If you have any other questions I go live every Monday at 4P.M. PST. Be sure to stop by and ask your TurboTax Question. I have home and business have door dash and all of the other federal id numbers but Uber eats doesn’t give me that information. It shows me what I made and expenses but I tracked my own mileage on a separate app. I’m trying to figure out how I file Uber if they didn’t give me all of the information I need in the 1099.
The 1099 given to you does not have the EIN on there? What information exactly is missing?
@EA Tax Resolutions Uber didn't give me a normal 1099 nec with the tax ID number on it. I Google the tax ID. Maybe they aren't ready or something idk. I have everything I needed from all of the other gigs already and was trying to do my taxes.
@@eataxresolutionsso I can do my own 1099enc and do my own expenses for it as opposed to paying the tax lady like 800😢. Does it seperate my regular w2 n standard deductions for dependents and married tax deductions? I just don’t get y tax lady said only getting me back 700 when I have 2 dps made like 64k married . Had like 6500 in expenses for DoorDash n I bought a house n paid points we did only pay like 1000 federal but still I’ve gotten more b4 with less deductions
My vehicle was totaled while driving for Lyft. Can I write this loss off?
Depends. Did you get reimbursed by insurance? If so, then no write off.
I filled out but it asks me for Schedule C???
I'm stuck there also. Do you figure yours out?
Great work, the template link provided is not working.
The link has been updated!
You completely missed explaining the first step of explaining where you were in the beginning.
TurboTax Free?
Even he does not know what he does!
Uber tracked every single on line mile i drove
When the video was published this wasn't the case. Thanks for sharing
