    Hi I’m a beginner and love all your videos. I struggle with both hands and I wish you would’ve used a less complicated sheet music. Like you said in a previous video “too much ink start with nursery rhymes.” I’ll save this video for later.

      I would still watch it. Just the first example is a little more complex. That tip still applies to easier music as well.

    Hello, i have a question
    I want to learn playing piano,
    My hands are pretty messed up from fighting, i probably have arthritis as well, can i still become good in playing piano?
    I dont want to become the next mozart but i would like to play to heal my soul and energize myself and just shut off the world while playing, thats what i am aiming for
    But im scared that i will only frustrate myself and waste moneya digital piano
    Would you say that someone who has hand problems can still learn piano?

      How long have you been learning? You might want to work on sight reading. I have a lesson right here on it: ruclips.net/video/uQprM6VzLgM/видео.html

    First of all, thank you for a great, great, great lesson. Second, I tip my hat to you and anyone who can play piano. I am watching this video because playing piano, reading treble and bass clefs simultaneously seems IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!!!

    I'm learning out of Alfred's Basic Adult Piano course, and just learned to play D7, right hand, in G position. I have to kind of twist my hand and wrist, and I feel like I can't press each key properly -- particularly C. Am I doing something wrong, or is it supposed to be kind of awkward?

    5:39 holy shit… this pattern made me think of Toby Fox - Another Medium. 😅 I’m doomed, the classical piano players in my area are gonna shank me with a tuning fork for not being cultured enough, and not disliking modern music as well. 😶‍🌫️
    (Jokes on them though, I’m primarily a composer anyway. I just prefer to learn the instruments I’m composing for, because I feel like it helps to transcribe my stuff more efficiently, and gives me a better idea of what’s a realistic piece to play and perform.)

    Hi, Tim. Thanks so much for your very didactic classes. I have learned a lot. Could you tell what is that software that you use to write the notes in? I was using MuseScore, but had some difficulty with it. Then I switched to Encore, which is alright, but not really the best. Thanks in advance for your help.

      I recommend writing a reminder note on top of most of your music sheets. That is what my teacher used to make me do. It works but be careful writing too many notes or your brain will just ignore them.

    At 2:20ish you have the D just left of middle C. The next note is the D on that clef one octave flat. Why did you go Two ? Thanks

    • @Critique808
      @Critique808 Год назад +1

      It shows one octave lower so he is correct. Look carefully. It shows 8 which is octave lower.

    • @michaellandreth1392

      @@Critique808 he goes 16 or the 2nd D. At 2:19 he's at the D beside Middle C. The next D is 8 notes left. He goes 16. If he is playing whats in the red box. Isn't that the D played just left of the Black rectangle below the staff. If I'm wrong I'd like to know what make that D played 2 octaves lower than just the note on the staff. I'm new to reading music. But all my books have that note 1 D left of middle C. Thanks

    • @Critique808
      @Critique808 Год назад +1

      @michael landreth It shows 8 at the bottom of the music sheet so you have to go down an extra 8 notes so he is correct. Look carefully at the bottom of the music 🎶 sheet it shows 8 than a line. The notes with 8 and a line is octave lower.

      @@Critique808 Great Thank you ! I saw those and was why I asked about something other than the note on the staff. I'l remember that in my music reading.

    • @Critique808
      @Critique808 Год назад +1

      @michael landreth There's also octave higher, 8 notes higher. You can watch tutorial video for octaves.
