Hey Students, If you want to make the most out of your time this summer and take your piano playing to that next level, I highly recommend you check out the courses over on my website www.pianolessonsontheweb.com, especially since the Summer Sale is going on right now until June 22nd. Also, code “youtube” at checkout will still get you an additional 15% off on top of the sale. Now is a great time to learn!

The reason your a great teacher: You teach like you remember what it was like to be a beginning student frustrated by teachers who couldn't explain things clearly. Through your videos you show numerous ways to accomplish mastery. Your not intimidated to highlight other teachers. Thanks for all that and more.

I cannot thank you enough for your videos. I have played by ear for many years. I have always wanted to learn to play by note. You explain it very well. God bless

    CORRECTION
I also want to mention that at 1:32 in the video, the Db minor chord should be notes Db, Fb, Ab
The Db diminished chord should be notes Db, Fb, Abb (double flat)
My editor was using the notes I was playing and doesn't know chord theory. My mistake though, I should have caught it during the final review!

Thanks for toning down the whacky stuff on this one, in favor of more professional presentations -
That is, piano training presentations which suit your own more professional side, but not whacky teen
on caffeine type, as with some of your other presentations.
Please, you don't need to say, "I want you to...." so frequently.
    Students know that.
Yep. This one more adult, (or staying on topic vs clowning),
    therefore professional and more credible.
Still quite enjoyable, so don't worry about feeding in goofiness,
in order to show people that practicing can be fun and not just work.
Coincidentally, I already have the Hanon and the Alfred's you showed us.
That is, I own them, but I certainly don't rule the keyboard with them. Yet.
And, I had the bindings replaced with coils, so the pages lay flat.
    Good Stuff, this video.
