60 billion I'd say would be about right if u factor in the cost of your average bike shed as an example but will in the end cost 100 billion and will overrun by years infrastructure Irish style.

This is nonsense- if the Metro goes ahead it will cost €18b and come in 3 years behind schedule. Ryan is not qualified to say it will only cost €9B. Much of the project is underground and there is no way of determining the ground conditions. Tunnelling is always more expensive than it starts out even when the ground conditions are known. London is a prime example of this, as they have been running in London for over 150 years and generally know what the ground conditions are in advance. But its always more expensive than planned.
They should never let him lead on any project he didn't want fiber for national broadband just wireless. The metro gonna go way over budget if he leading it.
