I've been using this charger exclusively for almost a year now. It hasn't had any problems. The noise is quite noticeable from the fan and on lower amps (1 - 2) it doesn't get very hot when charging. The chart states 51.4V for 80% of battery charge. When I put the setting to 80% on the charger and let it complete the battery is charged to a little over 52V. Then the Bafang 500c display shows 100% battery life on the display. As noted in the video, the charger only comes with the XT60 charging cable so if you have a round plug or 3 pin like the shown battery, then an adapter is needed. Overall, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 STARS

@@Certified3D That's odd, are you charging through the charge port or the XT60 port that goes out to the motor? If the XT60 port then I think the battery needs to be left in the on position to open up the connection. I charge through the circular plug with 3 prongs and can leave the battery switch off.

Thanks for a great tutorial! I especially love that you showed the entire user manual. Your video was also very thorough including measurements such as length of cables and also described all of the physical and functional features. This is helpful in deciding whether to purchase this charger. The only thing I don't know at this point is whether it will work on my battery which is for an Aventon bike, but it is a 48v lithium battery, so it should work, I just need the barrel adapter. Thanks again!

You're welcome! I'm really glad the video helped. Comments like this inspire me to continue making helpful videos. One other thing to check is the fastest charge speed your Aventon's battery can handle. This charger can output up to 5 AMPS I believe and you don't want charge faster than it's rated for. Overall, a little noisier but I've been using for awhile now and no problems. I regularly charge at 2 amps up to 80 % on my 48v, 960 watt/hr battery.

I have a battery that won't take a charge. I think it's because the battery went dormant. Will this charger make my battery charge?

Considering they want 95.99 , while mine costed 25 and came with all the adapters for every existing connector on the bike they are real blokes.
