I find bells are useful for riding with dog walkers and joggers. I think hi vis clothing/accessories is important. I use a fluorescent waterproof backpack cover. It's cheap and very visible and also keeps your backpack dry.
I always wear a full face helmet on my bike. Seen way too many people eat asphalt and loose teeth and skin, plus its a great place to add a GoPro. Speed, weather, and terrain really dictate gear choices. My stealth bomber clone can hit 60+mph on streets so helmet, gloves and goggles are necessary.
I agree with some comments here. Mirrors are a must. Also a rear rack is a huge help if you are going car replacement. No car=dual battery. Perfect spot for the 2nd one. Thank you for the video and once again….please review delfast 3.0. I’m going to keep asking until I get my way. Have a great one
Good recommendations. I need my rack though. Carrying a backpack becomes very uncomfortable for long distance riding. Have you tried panniers? I find that helps to keep things balanced.
Well thought out video, the suspension is important as you said but it's the added level of control that you get from a good suspension that's so valuable...... lol, this becomes more obvious when a motor is added(electric/gas). I learned about all this after I lost my DL for 3 yrs = a good suspension might even let ya get a cheaper helmet(NOT!), I'm exaggerating to say get the best of any/all safety equipment & don't do what I did to lose my Driver's License ~ peace -n- thanks for the videos
You completely missed the most important add on and that is mirrors and another that I always wear is a safety vest for visibility it might not be fashionable but it will save your life I noticed a huge improvement of cars seeing me once I started wearing one
Yes I have a Bright blue windbreaker vest it helps loads especially during the day. The mirrors are a must at least the left mirror. I also think rear blinkers are a must as well if your riding on a road as to me seems like 80% don't know what hand signals are.😆
I don't like a backpack when riding a regular bike...puts extra weight on your tail and is uncomfortable on a regular bike saddle. With the motorcycle type seat/position guess it is not as much issue but you might try the Montreal fashion, a big milk crate, 13" x 13" lashed onto the carrier / rack. A shock cord streached over the top keeps even a big backpack in, loads instantly, carries say 2 bags of groceries, but you need a good carrier. I like a mirror in the city. Think I will follow your advice for a full face shield helmet. Thanks for vid!
I guess U-lock for those places you can't trust but I never had a u-lock and u-locks in my city are rare. I also don't always lock my bike up. Just drive up to a store and place it right in front.
I can testify to the importance of a bike lock because towards the end of last month I had mine stolen. I parked my bike outside are local Grocery store no names so I don't violate terms of service. And locked my bike to the bike rack with what I thought was a thick and very heavy bike lock. I went inside and did a little bit of grocery shopping. I came out of the store and my lock was on the ground cut in two pieces and my bike was gone. It had to be someone in the parking lot because someone on foot wouldn't be carrying heavy bolt cutters. I'm sure thief's are always prepared. I had insurance and already ordered a new bike. I ordered a three wheel HJM Trike. It should be here some time next week. My hole point of my comment is don't go cheap on your locks buy the best and if you had three locks you wouldn't have to many and add a alarm to that.
Hi NPL! I saw your your scenery while riding and jumped from my seat! "Hey! He's in Summit, NJ" I'm at Berkeley Heights and viewing electric bikes and electric moto channels and my feed gave me yours... I purchased a Land Moto District... Pricey, but I think worth the investment for beginner to move up to motorcycle endorsement later when I'm comfortable... Hit me up if you want to ride my Land Moto on your channel for na official review 👍. I just subscribed to your channel.
Very true. After I moved down here to FL, I noticed the town I'm in has bike sidewalks.. not just lanes, but a whole bike trail running parallel with most roads. That may be normal, but that's a massive change compared to dusty Indiana steets, where sidewalks for pedestrians dont even exist. I would not be one of those people riding on the crumbling edge of a 45mph country road. 😅

@KatholikoPharorah Yea, I lived by South Bend. I never noticed bike infrastructure, then again I definitely wasn't paying attention. This was ugh 2020s, so yea.. I believe it tho. Yea, the town I'm in FL has big old bike ROADS next to the road. It's like, literally one of the main selling points to me pulling the trigger to buy a bike.

@@Bigdog1787 I finally found a good set of front and rear taillights that are hard wired I can’t wait until they get here
and proper foot wear !!
Wait why would you need a vest if you just have lights?
@@kimhyunwoo8983 because people on drugs see lights already. 😅
Other things I'd recommend:
-Kidney belt
-Safety vest esp at night
Your P-51 is one of the cleanest bikes Ive seen on any channel. Not too over extravagant.. a clean, streamlined, powerful bike.
Horns and bells are for pedestrians
That a aftermarket kickstand?
A horn is definitely worth it.
I put a 105db motorcycle horn on my ebike and every time i use it grabs attention.
😂 😂 😂

what backpack do you have in the video? it looks really nice :3c
Get hit by a dummy in a car and you'll wish you had a horn. A horn is essential for riding on the street
What fenders do you have
What is the shield u have on the front ? U have a link for it ?
What is the cheapest/ budget full suspension frame do you recommend
You mentioned Fenders... Where did you get the Fenders from???
Where is that lcd display from?
what throttle are you using on the P51?
do you have a link to that under mount rear view mirror ?

Hello was looking to upgrade my ebike and was looking to possibly get some info from you. Email or any other way to reach out?
Backpack?
10,000miles of experience and say that you dont need bells or horns.... i use mines in traffic and sidewalks, its loud af too

Y’all see the pissed off guard with the cone?
yeah didn't agree but I guess thats biking for u ahah ive found a rear rack to be the perfect way to carry stuff and carry tons of stuff all he
I didn't know there were people against kickstands. 🤷🏻♂️
Instead of buying multiple ebikes why not buy one e-motorcycle
There are pros and cons to both. Since I rarely go out of town, and I like the exercise(I actually pedal mine.). They’re cheaper, more versatile…
ill a add something like a cardo
The links are not working
They work for me.

If your town don’t have bike lane don’t invest in it
If your city won’t invest in bikes, you shouldn’t either.
