Lol nice title.. well my family were professional fisherman and we always went out in weather like that and worse out in the open ocean as was way we put food on the table. anyway this isn't even rough and is just a bit of a swell and is nice weather actually. Been out in 35 foot swells and that isn't real nice.
It's cool to see the difference of a good pass and a pass made by a pilot that isn't as seasoned. It shows the does and don'ts very nicely. Thanks for that. It gives me hope that there are still good boaters out there. Lmao 👍🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I can't even tell you how much better I feel every time I watch your videos! We're expecting 4-6 inches of snow tomorrow but seeing this puts such a huge, happy grin on my face. Thanks!!
We used to keep our boat at a marina in Sunny Isles Beach. Many a day, I drove over the bridge at Haulover Inlet to decide whether it worth trying to go out or not, before getting the boat out of the slip.
Why? Inexperienced owners with a large checkbook. No training. Haulover has been my entrance for decades. It can be a dangerous entrance/exit. Local knowledge is preferred.
Been in the water 45 of my 57 years, to each his own regarding competence, comfort & experience…my wife & I get excited when there’s a “Small Craft Advisory” cuz 90% of the amateurs stay home…local knowledge of the channels, clean fuel, & let’s go…😎
Alot of these boat are not bluewater ready vessels that were built for lakes and a 1 to 2 foot chop. Not all boats are seaworthy no matter what the manufacturer says.
Ahhhhh yeah, buffers flappin around, dock lines hanging over the side, slapping their way out where the waves are standing up the steepest. The sports cruiser "captains" never fail us.
I get fishing. But I think most of these boats are just burning fuel the big boats are likely charters. There aren’t many destinations going out of there without doing quite a few miles.

Kinda interesting watching that assmutt 62 airing it out. Seakindly does not come to mind; giant lake boat does. I can't imagine all the shit banging around inside that thing.
@@ralphholiman7401 To include retabbing popped bulkheads and maybe a stringer. Ever see under the skirt of one of those? They're right down there with Prestige, Meridian, Sea Ray, Carver, and Marquis.
Is there a law in the US that going onto open water a lifejacket must NOT be worn ? In most countries the regulations require the wearing of lifejackets. Perhaps all Americans are excellent swimmers ? I have seen footage of people flying off boats going through that inlet. No basic safety rules nor basic risk assessments seem to be in place.
Photography is great but seamanship is cringeworthy. No lifejackets worn, passengers being thrown about, lines trailing and fenders dangling and if anything unfortunate happens they will expect to be rescued.
The real question is, why are US boaters obsessed with bow riders? The most inappropriate design for waves. Stick to the lakes kids. And as for those large 50ft 5 engine things with open bows - utterly pointless in anything but flat calm.
I like to put in the less dramatic clips so you can see what it looks like when a captain chooses a proper approach ,speed and trim. enjoy!

I was in park city over new years, got a ton of snow! Fun to visit!
The images filmed with a drone are fantastic. keep it up
Perfect time to see if the bottom needs painting. Great drone work.

👍
Good man
Great footage! Never trust a Captain with dangling fenders!
Wow your footage is amazing!
Nice to see a longer video again. I know RUclips is pushing creators to do shorts, but they’re not my favorite.
Totally agree.
F*ck shorts. 👎
Me toooo😊
Drone footage is the best. Thanks!
The drone shots are amazing!
That Schaeffer looked very composed in the chop.
Superb video footage, thanks.
Cobia should pay you for the clip of the 262 running out of the inlet. Great footage.
That blue cobia handle the inlet really good 👍 👌 😍. Love the video 📹
This is the best way to see what boat has what it takes for ocean trips
It doesn’t prove so much much about the boat as it does her pilot
After going through that rough water, some boats must have stress fractures in the hull.
What amazes me is that with those conditions i wonder how many people were wearing any kind of PFD ?
What weather. is a nice smooth day at sea with a bit of a swell.
It’s America - they don’t know they exist….
Why does everyone have fenders out! lol
Great content as always 😊
Awesome work and video!

The 5 million Sunseeker looks VERY top heavy and quite narrow... a good combination for sea sickness
Why do so many of these boats leave their fenders hanging off the side?

It never ceases to amaze me on these small boats no one we’re a life jackets maybe life is cheap in the USA
These people are nuts! When you see 60+ foot yachts having a hard tiime, stay in the bay.
Obviously people go out in that because it's calming and relaxing.

God that first one was legitimately physically painful to watch. That smack must have hurt. But there were some really solid runs through there.
Anyone knows which boat is the one in 2:30?
wondering the same thing.
Everything inside that Azimut is everywhere...the galley is in the staterooms at that point.
If I'm coming out there, it's gonna be on the newer Edmund Fitzgerald 2. A 15,500 footer freighter ship!!
Ahhhhh yeah, buffers flappin around, dock lines hanging over the side, slapping their way out where the waves are standing up the steepest. The sports cruiser "captains" never fail us.
Boat show yang luar biasa salam sehat selalu sahabat.
Hati hati ombaknya besar
The Maximum boat looks like it is the broken off front end of a larger boat
It seems to handle the waves really well tho, nice little boat!
That Azimut at 11:30 is beautiful but why fenders left out?
Some people with their small boats do not have no business out there
You must be using a skyido drone? If not dang you are brave flying backwards that low over water lol
Hull Slamming! Stress cracks?
Those are crack the hull waves!!!!!
Hey, I screen recorded 2 shorts of yours, is it fine if I post them
I would go out in those conditions with my Bayliss... if I had one.
Does no one try to time going out or coming in with slack tide?
What the heck are these guys thinking? They got to be out of their minds
Who makes the cat at the 6:20 mark?
Looks like a Freeman.

WHERE ARE THE MIDNIGHT SUB EXPRESS ???🤣🤣🤣

👍👍
I'd agree with you. The older 92 looks sleeker.
The cameras aren’t there to catch the idiots in action. The idiots are there because of the cameras.
Kinda interesting watching that assmutt 62 airing it out. Seakindly does not come to mind; giant lake boat does. I can't imagine all the shit banging around inside that thing.
I imagine, they were putting that boat back together inside the cabin for a while after that.

Need more Catamarans ..Better Boat to deal with the waves
Some of these new skipper's have no idea what their doing, just showing off to the young lady with him.
As one who now an then will hire a captain, I would fire anyone of them that left fenders out. before leaving the dock.

My first question is..."Were drugs or alcohol involved ?"...
Uhhh that’s a monterey 295 with a single.
One more Haulover video -- 100% idiots waving to the drones for recognition -- 0% life jackets on. Careful, don't spill my drink.
Достала морская меня болезнь.
Закрыла глаза я, у меня есть
Компасы, матросы, гитара и слезы.

Looks like great fun :-( not to me !
Photography is great but seamanship is cringeworthy.

Overestimate their own ability.
I do it for money! Certainly not love!
Intelligente letter 51
Because they are rich and they don't give a f$%#😁
Sure seems incredibly irresponsible and not SAFE. I could see being out there and a storm kicks up but these people see it coming out. Crazy!
omfg this is not bad weather and is smooth and nice with a bit of a swell.
Is safe if know how to operate a boat.

Soy marino y nunca entendí porque golpean tanto a estos hermosos barcos sin necesidad...
