Hi, I'm Dr. Babak Hosseini; many of my patients suffer from allergies with contacts during this season, so we're here to talk to you about three simple ways how you can control your allergies.
The first is if you have the option to switch to daily disposable contacts, and the second option is if you can't switch to dailies, consider going to a hydroperoxide system which is a deep cleaner, just make sure you don't hurt your eyes, by using it improperly make sure to read instructions.
The third option is to use some sort of allergy medicine before and after your contacts or contact lens wetting drops during the day with your contacts so you can prove some relief. Even better is to do allergies testing. I always recommend all my patients consider allergy testing to customize their treatment to prevent their exposure to allergens and improve their comfort.
