Everyone, so sorry!! I don't think my budget was 10,000 won (~10$)!! I honestly have no idea how I didn't catch that - unless these books were on a bigger sale than I remember, but if anything, I was probably able to stay within budget due to sales and coupons!! again, so sorry for the misinformation! 😭
:o thats so nice to see so many english books in south korea! I love book shopping! Are books very expensive there? Considering its imported? I live in Indonesia, books are so expensive here :((
Yes! It was exciting to see how the English selection grew! 🤩 book shopping’s the best hehe! Oof, the books here are pretty expensive too! The range differs but sometimes it’s too shocking to buy 😂 They tend to be slightly cheaper online, so I buy most of my books online 😅
Love the PF Flyers! I have two pairs. What a fun video. I have wanted to read The Secret History for years, but still don't have a copy. One day. LOL Ooh! Good reminder on the posture. I straightened up with you. I was wondering if you bought the Cat Who Saved Books. I'm interested in that one. It's good to have a budget and be selective about the purchases.
thank you so much! 🥰 yes, one day haha! honestly, booktok made me super curious and I wanted to try reading dark academia lol ah, that's amazing! I straightened my posture reading this comment LMAO and yes, I did buy The Cat Who Saved Books! It was too pretty not to get 😩 that's true! it'd be too dangerous if I hadn't had a budget 😂😂
Yes it is 교보문고!! Unfortunately, they downsized the English section a little bit, but they still have a decent amount! It’s the one at 광화문, which I feel has the largest selection
oh my gosh, I am SO SORRY!! I honestly did not realize I had said 10,000 (~10$) 😭😭 I was not able to do so, but I think my budget was around 20, if not 25,000 Won! again, so sorry omg I don't know how I didn't catch that?? also, unfortunately, the websites I order from don't ship internationally, only in Korea :( however, book depository is a good option for cheaper/ discounted book prices and they offer free shipping worldwide!
@@PinkBaphomet oh wow, paperbacks are cheap in your country!! they're around 10 dollars here?? if I'm converting somewhat accurately 😂 sometimes they can be less only the hardcover was around 20 dollars? everything else was below that, I'm pretty sure (it's been a while so I can't remember lol 😅) but true that, hardcovers can be pretty expensive
@@moonkneeque last time I saw, I think they had secondhand vol 1 and 2! But they don’t sell them physically in stores I don’t think - it’d be easier to buy them online 😕 but if you order online, you can get the rest of the volumes in English!

Really helpful video.❤
Glad to hear that! ❤️ to be honest, a lot has changed since then, the English section became much smaller sadly 🥲
