A lot of woman also struggle during and after menopause too with shop closing up a bit. The couple should support and be transparent and honest at all times to make the best of it.
You’re absolutely right-menopause can bring its own set of challenges, and open communication and mutual support in a relationship are so important during that time. Thank you for highlighting this-transparency and understanding truly make a difference in navigating life’s changes together!
Having had a wide radical prostatectomy nine years ago, that part of my life has never returned. My wife is very supportive and sympathetic, however it leaves me feeling crippled. We get by however life is different.
The open and honest discussion about erectile dysfunction and its impact on relationships is refreshing, offering both practical advice and reassurance. It's great to see content that supports both physical and emotional well-being! -Macy (Team Evan)
Thank you for your thoughtful comment! We're glad you found the discussion helpful. It's so important to address both the physical and emotional aspects of well-being, and we hope the content continues to provide support and reassurance for many.
So glad you enjoyed our approach. Our goal was to address both aspects of this issue and encourage couples to talk about it together. Thank you for letting us know, your feedback is very appreciated!
@@RetirementTransformed I think it's humor but there is truth in it because after a while, it's just same old, same old. Familiarity is what the drug companies who make the hormones have researched and come to this conclusion. Someone new can be very exciting and I believe having an affair is more about your mortality, wanting to feel that initial excitement again before you die. It doesn't mean you don't love your partner.
ohhh i pray for that to happen to my husband. After 33 years, menopause, hyst etc, i have ZERO interest in that act anymore...at all. He on the other hand is still a horn dog, ugh so i comply weekly...look forward to the day we can skip it forever. i'd rather snuggle, hug, hold a hand.
Thank you for sharing such a personal perspective-it’s a topic many can relate to but might not talk about openly. Relationships evolve over time, and it’s beautiful that you still value the connection through snuggles, hugs, and hand-holding. Open communication and mutual understanding are key as you navigate these changes together. Wishing you both continued love and closeness!
I would like to see more discussion regarding effects of prostrate and/or colon cancer treatment. I understand Dr.s forewarn possibility of issues afterwards but is there nothing that can be done to minimize side effects, or improve sexual function after treatment?? I can see why some men would rather bury their heads in the sand than face the likelihood of sexual impotence after lifesaving treatment.
That is such a great idea for another topic for Mark and Jody to explore. The feelings that people have after a life threatening diagnosis and the risks to a persons functioning during and after treatment are so complex and difficult. ❤
The woman has to be compassionate n understanding. It IS very devastating for men. Primal.Dents their ego. What to do? Just kiss, hug, cuddle n hold hands. Smile at him a lot. Poor thing feels so bad. Bake some really delicious cookies to get ready for such times. Have cookies and a hot cup of coffee. Just talk and reassure him it's no big deal.
What a wonderful comment! Any issue that a couple can cope with together instead of letting it divide them makes them stronger and closer. Thank you for sharing this.
Im 76 single had a concussion . I was very active good looking and still have women around me, as friends. I want to have relation but get scared. What can i do??
I guess the first thing o do is talk more openly about your expectations with some of the women you know or have mett. Let people know you are interested in a more serious relationship. And be clear on that that means to you. Hope this was helpful
It's understandable that an injury like you suffered might result in you feeling less confident. You may want to consider talking to someone about the changes you feel the concussion has caused in you, and how you can learn to communicate your wants and needs and deepen your relationships.

Thank you for sharing this. I think many men, including me, don’t talk much about this. Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing your story.
I'm so sorry for your loss, but also so inspired to hear how you and your wife have come together in the face of this big change.

Most common cause is marriage.
Not sure what you mean by this unless you are using humor. Thanks for leaving a comment.

OK. Maybe we can bring on another expert in that area. Thank you

Why are there no comments yet come on folks.
I’m having a hard time thinking of one 🤔
It’s a complicated and sensitive topic. I’m curious to see what people say.
lol. Witty comment.

cookies --> sugar --> diabetes --> damage to blood vessels --> ED ... not great advice, but you highlighted the cause.

Usually cardiologists and endocrinologists do warn their patients about the possibility of ED
Yes. It’s so much about circulation of blood.
Yes they do!
