I just ordered an IST 49S which is basically a knee lever without the aluminum shaft. Saves $20 and supposedly degrades slower.
I have heard many liked to change out the microswitches on the Knee lever to Gersung A3's - is that something you have considered doing?
I did hear people suggesting this! I may experiment a little bit with it in the future 👌🏾
I just ordered those micro switches btw! I’ll let you know how they change the feel of this lever when they get here
@@ralphhblack I actually ordered a few about 2,5 months ago! Definitely different, they are ever so slightly heavier to actuate and they give more tactile feedback. I use Gersung A3HM's as my main switches now. They have ever so slightly longer and thicker pins than the normal A3. Feels a bit more sturdy mentally, even though I probably couldnt tell them apart in a blind test personally.

I have the ist 49s lever. I find it requires more effort to do a wavedash over the Japanese stick with an octagonal gate. Overall i guess i have to get use to the stick.
I’m going to try out an alpha n as well so I’ll be sure to upload on that after I finished my knee neo review 👌🏾

Excellent video mate, thinking of buying this for Tekken 8, i like a short throw hi tension stick, i know u can buy different tension gromets...vut what about throw. I have the seimitsu Nobi lever at moment, thanks, Chris.
Thank you! 🙏🏾 Hmm for short throw higher tension I would probably recommend the crown 309mj with a higher tension grommet! The knee levers throw is definitely longer than Japanese sticks but the 309 is a great transition from Japanese to k lever

@@albertosala6799 no problem! I feel it returns to neutral faster than a Sanwa and has great balance. Great for Tekken!
Do all korean sticks have a round gate?
You can buy other shaped gates to mod your K lever with as well!
Does it not good for Beginners?
It’s good for beginners since beginners won’t have a preference yet when it comes to a stick! You will get used to it over time
@@ralphhblackwell it's too bad it is not for a Mishima characters but can you use it for Geese and Akuma?
@@TKMichinaga That's not all the way true. By default no because it has a 35A grommet out of the box BUT if you upgrade to a 55 grommet it is PERFECT for Mishima because everything else on the fightstick is optimized. This is what I play on.
