I’ve loved her from the first time I heard her in the 70’s. I’ve been lucky enough to see her live on countless occasions. Everytime I had the chance to see her live, I was there. Such a great artist with so much soul and blues in her. She once said she lives to play live gigs and her live recordings were always so much better than the studio albums because that’s what she was, a live artist. RIP Renee, your are so sadly missed.

She was always with me and my 8 track in the 70's & the 80's, including my cassette player. WoW, what times they were....I met a girl in January 1973 that later became my wife in October of that same year. Renee's music was part of that experience and my wife went on to make me the person I am today. Sadly missed every day.
