So glad to see you do a video on how to play Holy Priest in Arenas. Not a lot of current guides for Holy Priest atm, and this is very helpful on playing the class. Decided to try Holy Priest after going 0-6 against one in Solo with my Holy Paladin.
With divine hymn and all talents, it really needs to be your first cooldown used, either behind a pillar or in spirit form. It’s 30s of 30% more healing

Just wanted to make sure im positioning correctly and using my spells properly etc etc and this helped alot having you explain the logic behind each decision youre making. thanks

I havent healed pvp since warlords but recently hit 1730 on a Hpriest in 2s playing with a ret. I run restitution. I notice no one else does but ive had wins off of using it. I think when you are new to healing Restitution is really good. Its just useless if the kill target is your DPS not you but i find i frequently at least half the time I am the kill target in 2s. All of your guides and for other creators seem to soley focus on 3s and solo shuffle but All I ever end up doing is 2s so I think different builds can work in 2s.
Awesome tips, I never thought of using death to bounce my pom, thanks! I do a lot of 2v2 and I was wondering if a Lightweaver haste build is dead entirely or could it be good in this one case.
I find that with haste you go oom super fast and with the dampening meta in 2s you don't have enough mana to wait for your cd's to come back up late in the games
im at 2100 and struggling with mana very hard (2s) any tips? I feel like if i dont play aggro i end up having to spam flash heals and just lose 4 mins in due to mana

Also common mistake using hymn in Spirit doesnt give you healing bonus
@@TheOaxOaxOaxdoing in spirit does guarantee the whole channel completes
it does... its only safe if they are able to cc you or kick you..but usin it behind pillar so all ppl get healing bonus is much better

@qudno5948 additionally you can't get a gladiator or legend title in 2v2. This is critically important to my arguments.

Something that absolutely never makes sense is that any games he plays never has the ping pong healing of olany of my games even through all cooldowns
