@@shoemaker0834 league leader in playoff points last year as well, don't be an idiot. Need a whole team to win in the playoffs, doesn't discount McDavid from being the best player in the league, hands down.
Edmonton (where McDavid plays) comes to Dallas December 21st if you were interested in catching him live. I'm a huge Oilers fan and have been for 25 years, I've never watched a player as skilled, fast and dynamic as him. Love seeing other people get exposed to him and hockey, it's something else.
With long camera shots, slo-mo replays and graceful skating, it’s hard to appreciate how fast it is happening at ice level. He is moving just under 30 mph at full flight. It is incredible.
I was lucky when I was younger because my family had season tickets to the Erie Otters (McDavids junior team) and I got to watch him when he was sixteen absolute legend
#2 will always be my favourite goal of McDavids. That was after coming back from a broken collar in his rookie year, where he missed 37 games. Even so he was a very strong contender for the Calder trophy (Best Rookie)
Not only does he still play, he's still getting better. On pace this season to shatter all his career records and the league scoring records over the past 20 years.
McDavid is the man. Unrealistic talent. Another amazing hockey video to check out is Top 10 Alex Ovechkin Plays Of All Time. Ovechkin can do ll the fancy stuff as well, but he's a lot more physical than most great goal scorers are. Check him out. You might have a NEW new favorite player, haha. He's one of the best ever for surte.
He's got a good 15 years left in him. Plenty more highlights to come. #2 was extra special for McDavid and Oiler fans, because that was his first game back from a long injury, where he had missed 37 games due to a broken collarbone.
Connor's like Barry Sanders (NFL superstar runnning back) on skates. Never seen a guy before who could be moving so fast, yet still make the moves with the puck and score.
You should definitely get into hockey. Such an exciting sport. Dallas has a good team this year, should definitely watch some games in person. And playoff hockey might be the best playoff of all sports
He’s the most dominant athlete in North American sports right now. Arguably most dominant athlete in the world. He’s just so much better than everyone else on the ice
I had the pleasure of seeing McDavid’s first NHL hat trick in person (at the expense of the Dallas Stars… sorry). The Stars fans were classy though. Full credit to them. They’re hockey fans first, as it should be. A few even threw their hats on the ice along with the visiting Oilers fans. It was a surreal night - practically everyone there was open-mouthed watching the 97 show. Dallas puts on a great show regardless of how much you love the sport - I definitely recommend checking out a game at the AA. The people running the scoreboard make it worth the admission alone. 😂
McDavid is the best in the world. Not just the NHL. Like you said in the video his control and puck handling skills with the puck is one of a kind and he’s the fastest skater in the world too!
If you want jukes or dekes as they are called in hockey, I suggest Pavel Datsyuk and Patrick Kane. Datsyuk is one of the pioneers of this speed and skill kinda game
Should watch his best shootout goals as well. When you said "I didn't know they was doing that in hockey" - they aren't, this guy is just jesus on skates LOL
Hey, Dallas has a team but none of the players are from Texas. Texas has probably produced fewer than 10 NHLers in 30 years, so yeah, its not popular in high schools or college. To produce nhl players you usually need a place where ice occurs naturally (or rich parents since ice rinks are pricy).
It's not easy splitting an NHL defense. Unless you're an elite player it shouldn't be tried... Dangerous for turn overs that can quickly convert to two on ones.
Definitely the best skater in NHL history. Although, Bobby Orr might have been more superior to his peers skating wise. Certainly no one has had the speed and edgework of McDavid in the approximately 50 years since Orr was at his best.
I'm Canadian we have a lot more black people here now I'm just waiting for a Julio Jones type athlete to break in the N.H.L it's going to be great for the fastest hardest team sport ever to get even better
McDavid’s definitely the best player in the league right now. Dude’s a beast.
Arguably the best currently active player on the planet. The way he sees the game of hockey is ridiculous!
@@natev580 not arguably at all, no one else is close
Regular season at least.
@@shoemaker0834 league leader in playoff points last year as well, don't be an idiot. Need a whole team to win in the playoffs, doesn't discount McDavid from being the best player in the league, hands down.
97 is the best offensive player. Sid still affects the game in more ways. 87 still the best 200-foot player in the league.
He’s the best player in the world by such a wide margin. Skating, hands, IQ, passing, shot. He has everything

He’s incredible. This year alone he’s already had even more highlight reel goals and they’ve only played 15 games.
He’s the Canadian Lebron, in terms of how he was hyped all through high school, and every team was just praying for the first overall that year.

Believe me whenever I come to a game along with 18,000 people in attendance seeing him in action, it’s effin amazing.
#2 will always be my favourite goal of McDavids. That was after coming back from a broken collar in his rookie year, where he missed 37 games. Even so he was a very strong contender for the Calder trophy (Best Rookie)
if you wanna see him live this is perfect year to do it…. he is putting crazy numbers this season 😮
Not only does he still play, he's still getting better. On pace this season to shatter all his career records and the league scoring records over the past 20 years.
Gives me chills watching this man. Best hockey player to ever play the games he’s not human
It's worth noting that #7 was against Keith and Seabrook, two of the best defenders at the time.

McDavid's highlights are better given his skillsets..
He's got a good 15 years left in him. Plenty more highlights to come. #2 was extra special for McDavid and Oiler fans, because that was his first game back from a long injury, where he had missed 37 games due to a broken collarbone.
Honestly McDavid is the most skilled hockey player to ever play the game
I have to agree.
He's about the most skilled athlete in all of mainstream sports
Connor's like Barry Sanders (NFL superstar runnning back) on skates. Never seen a guy before who could be moving so fast, yet still make the moves with the puck and score.

Yep he is the fastest player in the nhl and by far the best, Always does something amazing every game.
no the dude in the buffalos is the fastest
@@guldtheoyt8285 ????Who the hell would be faster than McDavid in Buffalo of all places lmao
He skates as fast as Usain Bolt runs....like actually for real.
he skates faster then usain bolt can run
That goal vs the Rangers was possibly the most impressive goal since Ovies goal in Arizona, you know the one.
He's a threat to score EVERY time he touches the puck... from ANYWHERE on the ice.
Connor's even more insanely superb this season.
Dallas are pretty good. Proud to say Dallas has five Finns and they are key players for the team.
What's hard to see for a new hockey viewer was the goal against Dallas - he shot the puck with his stick between his legs.
He is just getting better!!
He’s the most dominant athlete in North American sports right now. Arguably most dominant athlete in the world. He’s just so much better than everyone else on the ice
basically a guy that can make other guys look like pilons
Welcome to the NEW Goat 🐐 🙌
I,m moving to Edmonton .

Mcdavid is only 25 and hes pretty much unquestionably the best player in the league. Has been since he was probably 20-21
I'm from Edmonton, that's my team. He's even better this year. You gotta watch
If you want jukes or dekes as they are called in hockey, I suggest Pavel Datsyuk and Patrick Kane. Datsyuk is one of the pioneers of this speed and skill kinda game
"speaking of, there go the dallas stars right here"
**stars get absolutely waltzed on**
hehehehe, you sound like Cleveland Brown 😊 You've just earned a subscriber!
Good breakdown 😎 bro …… ❤
I enjoyed seeing your reaction with you being new to hockey, well Done ✅
goalies have it the hardest ngl
as a highschool hockey player in texas. hockey is HUGE compared to everywhere else
probably top 10 large cities in the entire USA to grow up playing hockey
minnesota?
Should watch his best shootout goals as well. When you said "I didn't know they was doing that in hockey" - they aren't, this guy is just jesus on skates LOL
Man, I was in the arena for number one, shit was crazy
McDavid definitely has similarities to lightning quick perimeter nba players.
u should see his 22-23 highlights, insane goals in just one season

He's had 10 more highlight goals just this year.
He's my favourite 🔥
Check out the mcdavid 2022-2023 highlights. He has 40 goals and 48 assists in 48 games!

Bro's nickname is McJesus. He is an absolute BOSS>
“Who is the guy????” It’s just McJesus doing McJesus things
Craziest part bros 26

Hopefully you got a chance to peep him this year
Conner McDavid still plays bro
Crosby should be the next to watch. Then Datsyuk and Bure.
Dallas got a kid named Jason Robertson. 23 years old and an emerging superstar. Ja Morant a good comparable
who is this guy ?
Connor McJesus
All that talent… still no cups
He only 25
Makes the other players look like a bunch of fools...
Why throw in white guy connor Mcdavid, and y’all wanna complain bout racism. Who even says that shit🤦♂️
MCJESUS THE CHOSEN ONE AND HE SHALL LEAD THEM
