So soft and gentle. We dont have many sparrows here these days, so it is so lovely to see them amongst the blossoms.
The music and the painting style evokes the feeling of when I was a kid watching Saturday morning cartoons with my brothers: of comfort, anticipation, and familiarity.

Little birds, with plumage brown, on our RUclips flutters down, A moment chirps its little strain,
Ten taps upon our window-pane,

God’s wild birds are inspiration of His creation…I have three sparrow nests in our ornamental pear trees…we feed them too! I hear their babies chirping ,while I enjoy drinking my green tea out on the backyard deck. You , Akiane…are an inspiration of God’s creation too! Watercolor is by far my favorite medium, I love the endless versatility of the color-water combination, the surprise and subtleness of watercolor. I love this as much as your more elaborate pieces, and now want to dig out my pencils and draw birds and branches and blossoms. I could never touch your intricacy, but I could draw (not paint, not yet anyway) birds and branches and blossoms. I feel closer to your art because this piece is simply...glorious. Sparrows are one of the most common bird species that occur where I live in Jönköping, Sweden. I heard them chirping outside my house while watching the You Tube video.
They are small and cute and sometimes they beg for food outside department stores and restaurants. 😊🐦🎶
