When fish are hooked on the tip of the nose, it's a clear indication that the depth is set correctly, allowing them or feed. Through my experiences, as evidenced by numerous catches. Some fish will remain stationary, waiting for eggs to float into their line of sight, before biting. If you spots, attempt to drift the bait into mouths, they will instinctively open and bite.
